A modern hotel - a lot of admin stuff is done via the Sonder app. A decent hotel with nice stuff! It’s located in a nice and quiet neighbourhood that isn’t too far away from London’s popular spots. However, it would be good if there were more toiletries provided - bedroom slippers would be nice, given that this a 4-star hotel.

Nice friendly staff for the most part. They were doing some painting in the halls of our floor near our room most of the days we were there. Even the painters were polite and tried to stay as quiet as possible. The room was a decent size and worked well for us. Small lifts but always clean and worked. Lobby was always clean and had nice offerings. Nearby there are only a couple of places for food, but still convenient enough. Several tube stations within a quick walk. Would stay here again.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent stay at Sonder the Henry, London. The room was drastically smaller than advertised, bearing no resemblance to the images on your website, and your staff admitted that guests “shouldn’t trust the website description”.This is misleading and absolutely not reflective of a 4-star standard. Additionally, charging separately for basic room cleaning is outrageous.

This hotel is out further from the tourist centers but it is well worth it. The room, albeit small, had the right amenities. We didn't opt for housekeeping, but it was very easy to access towels, linens, and other toiletry needs. The hotel staff were friendly and though you could sometimes hear noise from the hallways, it wasn't too loud.

The room was clean, nice and well kept although pretty small. It didn't matter for us, since we only used it for sleeping. :-) The café had really nice croissants and the hotel was situated in a quiet area with lots of nice cafés for breakfast and coffee. Pretty close to all the transportation you needed and it was a perfect spot to start exploring London from. Friendly staff. We loved our stay and would love to return!

Lovely hotel, nice modern aesthetic with the highest ceilings which made room feel large, heated bathroom floors, minimalist staff intervention which is great, really nicely attired lobby with a cafe good for quick nice early morning exits, fantastic area, pub across the road that was happy to accomodate requests to watch football games etc on tv. The area so close to Kensington Gardens for a nice walk and then to high street shopping.

Warm recommendation!
Excellent location with several alternatives of public transport to all over London, e.g. Westminster, Eurostar train terminal and British Museum. Hyde Park just few steps away for morning run. Safe area with restaurants close by. Clean, nice service, comfortable bed, homely. Good price-quality ratio. Breakfast service with healthy options such as porridge and fresh juice a bonus.

Beautiful building with stunning foyer & pleasant staff. Rooms are more basic but clean and comfortable. Hotel is in a lovely part of London with great walking and transport options. Good value.

Though the pictures looked nice this place was sadly not my cup of tea. The room was tiny and very sterile with little to no personality. I would not have minded this so much except the view from the window was filly blocked by a very close wall. It felt like we were below ground level and was very claustrophobic. Staff did not have any options when we requested another room. We were glad we were only staying two nights! This place might be fine if you're just looking for a place to crash at the end of the day but if you're looking for a room you can truly enjoy there are better options for this rate.

The Henry is a gem!
We were thrilled to find The Henry on our recent trip to London. We wanted to stay somewhere close to Paddington Station so we could have a ten minute walk to the Heathrow Express. I've stayed in this area before and the small hotels were just okay. Nothing prepared us for the quality of The Henry: Beautifully renovated, immaculate, very modern, great amenities, and super helpful staff. This is the place to book. We will return!

Awful experience
This was not a good experience! When we arrived our room had a very unpleasant smell, like sewage. We were told there was nothing they could do as it must be the air conditioning system, and that it had happened before, the hotel was full so couldn’t give us another room, we just had to put up with it!! There was no milk available to make drinks in the room, they had ‘run out’!!! We had to go out and buy milk!! On our departure we got trapped in the lift, it stopped mid trip to ground floor, was stuck for 10 minutes, no one seemed in the least bothered, especially the guy on reception, no apologies or anything!! Couldn’t wait to get out of the place!!!!

The room was very clean. The location is great close to the tube and train station. Very quiet neighbourhood. Nice coffee place in the hotel. Would stay again.
