Put us in a room type we had not booked (twin instead of double). Didn’t tell us this at check in. When we got to the room and call reception to ask to move to the room type we booked were told ‘Oh yes, I forgot to mention that when you checked in, we have not other rooms, but I’m sure you’ll like that one’ Terrible customer experience

We liked the close proximity to the Palladium Theatre area. The hotel is eclectic, with an interesting history, although its communal areas are more about the asthetics than comfort. What we did not like, was the bar staff clearly not getting on, it was unprofessional to watch. The checkout was awful, poorly trained staff. However our issues were addressed promtly by one of the managers when a complaint was made.

The property is stylish, comfortable and great location. My only issue was the breakfast restaurant where yet again there is no system and its chaos with terrible service. Apart from that hotel good. just eat elseswhere in the morning
