It was perfect for a quick trip to London. Conveniently locate to many types of transportation. Quiet but hopping location was terrific I would definitely stay there again since it's a great price and nice.

Good place to stay
The hotel is nicely located in Notting Hill Gate, just a short walk to bus stops into the city centre and Camden and the tube a couple of minutes further. (The 94 bus takes about 45 minutes to Piccadilly, and the tube is about 30 minutes.) There are ample restaurants within easy reach (a Jamaican, Persian, and Korean all just across the road.) The hotel itself is fairly new and well maintained. I have had a 'Cosy' room on the two occasions I've stayed and they were plenty big enough to have suitcases and walking room. Way bigger than many I have stayed in. The room design is a little industrial (bare concrete ceilings) and a little quirky (Marshall amps for radios). The ensuite area is separated from the main room by a curtain, and the wash basin is in the main room. See the video. The staff on both occasions have been great, helpful, patient, and focused on customer service; long may it continue. I will definitely be putting this on my list of places to stay while working in London.

The staff and property were absolutely amazing. Checking in was seamless and everyone made us feel welcome. The morning breakfast options is a must! At night they lock the front doors after a certain time which only allows people with keys to get in which made the area feel more safe. Many things to do whether it be grabbing food or simply going for a drink. Transportation is also extremely close by for the tube and other means if needed. Only thing I personally didn't like is that they had checked me out of my room one night prior to leaving and I had to get a new key, it was an honest mistake and an easy fix but other than that amazing. Thank you for having us!

The service at the Ruby Zoe is the best I’ve experienced in any city. Hotel staff go out of their way to be helpful in a thousand little ways. Hotel is squeaky clean and rooms are soundproof. The lounge is lovely, food is good. Location is unbeatable, walking distance to a major Tube hub, shopping and restaurants within a block or two. The shower has full glass and a curtain (so you can show off or not to other room occupants as you choose) is probably the best shower I’ve had in a hotel for water pressure. The only issue is the room configuration. I realize rooms have to be smaller in the city to be affordable, but our “Lovely Room” (their category) had no drawers, no mini fridge, but inexplicably two large amps in case you wanted to borrow a guitar from downstairs and play. I get wanting to be cool, but since all ages and walks of life stay there, a little fridge to keep drinks cold and leftovers preserved would be better. We stayed for two weeks, using it as a “home base” to see London and visit friends in nearby cities, and had already been traveling for two weeks before that, so we had three big suitcases. With no drawers and only a teeny closet, we had to have one hard-sided side-zip suitcase open on the floor shoved partway under the sink to live out of, the other two zipped and upright which we had to lay on the bed to get things out of. I would stay there again but want people to know if they’re going that a top-zip single compartment suitcase is best.

I love Ruby Zoe!!! I’m going to name my new dog after it. The only short coming is no dinner option. I know there restaurants across the street. But a larger ‘lite bite’ option could suffice. Staff were very, very helpful!

The structure of the bed is an injury hazard with sharp corners that get your leg when you walk past . The Galleys don't work , tea and coffee in the room would be better. Very good shower.
