They provided a room with a broken toilet, which they were unable to properly fix. Very concerning, as it is the major function - and the room was more expensive than another hotel with identical room dimensions. Instead of honestly acknowledging the issue and providing amends or a choice of solutions, they told me that the button simply needed to be pressed harder. However, upon arriving and inspecting myself - it seems they didn’t properly fix it. Instead, the toilet ended up nosily gurgling the entire rest of the day. Had they been more proactive with customer service, transparent and taken the concern seriously - this would’ve been a normal and happy stay.

Great location to public transportation. And local coffee shops and restaurant. If you know you will be out all day and just need a place to lay sleep, shower and toilet. It is the place for you.

Convenient location
Staff was very helpful instructing us where the Hop On Hop Off bus was located as well as how to get to Heathrow Airport via the underground station. Very friendly staff. Room was changed from upper level to ground floor after seeing our luggage, a kind gesture since no lift.

Hotel staff were super friendly! Location is ideal especially if you are coming from the St Pancras train station and you are close to kings Criss. Our room was squeaky clean. Great place to stay if you are on a budget.

Close to Kings Cross made London Travel on the Tube very easy. Several good restaurants in the near vicinity. The staff was excellent.

Good No-frills near St Pancras
A very small room very convenient to St Pancras station. The staff was friendly and responsive. The fan in the room provided plenty of cooling for us so no a/c wasn’t a problem. There’s very little sitting room. I think a small couch that would make into a single bed would be better than the single bed in the room. Overall, I’d recommend as a good low cost option for that location

Motel close to St. Pancras Station
I guess this is what a 2 stars hotel looks like. We chose this hotel because of the location close to St. Pancras international train station and the good reviews. But the room was uncomfortable. It has no temperature control, very tight with everything, washroom was extremely small. I would not recommend this hotel.

Easy access to trains and busses. Restaurants nearby and safe to walk around. No lift at the hotel so be aware if you have heavy luggage and challenged to do steps. Everything was fine, clean and comfortable.

I love these independent London hotels with tiny rooms for a reasonable price -- unlike the big chains in Central London. The staff always gets to know you and is very friendly. Central Hotel was no exception. I've stayed in a number of London hotels like this for a week or more at a time over the last thirty-some years. Central Hotel stands our for an extra level of cleanliness and very nice tiled bathrooms with up-to-date plumbing and very good water pressure.

This property is really close to the train station. The convenience was a huge benefit. Much dining nearby. The rooms were clean and a efficient. She’s not an opulent grand hotel, yet she delivers the essentials quite adequately. We would stay here again.

Inexpensive, small, comfortable centrally located
Excellent value close to Kings Cross/ St Pancras. So easy to access tube bus and trains to wherever you could wish. Lots of cafes and pubs near by. There is even a friendly laundrette a 5 mins walk from the Hotel. Rooms very small so we needed to utilize every inch of space to store bags. It is a bit cramped for two but beds comfortable, it’s quiet, it’s clean and has all basic amenities. Only downside are the narrow steep stairs to access the rooms. Stairs seem to be an unavoidable feature of London life. Reception staff really friendly. A big shout out to Wilson who carried our heavy bags up to our room willingly and was so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Thank you Wilson. We would stay again.
