Comfortable but a bit pricey…
The art’otel is a new style modern hotel across from the Battersea Power Station in London. We stayed in room 118 which had a comfortable king bed, in-room safe, small refrigerator, clothes steamer, fancy coffee maker, great air conditioning and plenty of room. The bathroom had a good shower but lacked counter top space. The hotel has a couple of different restaurants one of which has fabulous views and a rooftop seating area with a heated pool and hot tub. This is the perfect location for exploring the Battersea area shopping, dining and sights. Although the hotel is very nice and modern I feel that it is overpriced. Overall a nice stay in a comfortable hotel.

Nice short break in Battersea
Excellent room with City View (and Battersea Dogs Home). Unfortunately winds so great that rooftop bar and pool not practical. Battersea Power Station facilities and many restaurants within 5 minutes walk.

Wonderful hotel. Rooms were good amount of space for three adults staying. Breakfast was gorgeous, lots of it and great quality. Lady on reception was really helpful and took all our bags to keep for the day! Will definitely return

Rumble of the passing trains kept me up/woke me up. Air con in the room, to try and mask the outside noise sounds like a chinook helicopter hovering overhead. Lift and room controls are ridiculous- just give me a card key! Not very impressed for £300 per night.

Nice hotel - not a smooth check-in
There must have been some sort of issues between hotels.com and the actual hotel. We booked our room with breakfast included, but the actual hotel didn’t know about this. In the end everything was sorted, but it wasn’t as smooth as we would like it to be. When we checked in our room wasn’t ready, and this could have been also be sorted in a smoother way The room was great, clean and comfortable, and we had a great stay in a lovely spot of London.

Friendly reception and restauarant staff. We were upgraded on our arrival which was a lovely surprise especially for a birthday celebration. Loved the rooftop pool and views across London and Battersea park. Also loved the view of Battersea cats and dogs home from our room. We stayed for one night as we were heading to the fureworks at battersea so the hotel was in the perfect location. Check in wasn't great as on arrival at 14.45 our room wasn't ready, our bags were taken and we were told we would get a call when the room was ready. We returned at 16.00 to be told the room was now ready and our bags were in the room. We hadn't had a call. When we got to the room our bags weren't there ... but once i called services they were brought up to us. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The service we received every where else in the hotel was wonderful and the breakfast was delightful. We had an early morning swim in the pool which although chilly was a lovely way to start the morning. Other than the one individual on reception all staff were knowledgeable and helpful
