All totally private you have open plan living & kitchen area with dishwasher, indoor & outdoor dining, a labyrinth, pool, donkey paddock, roof terrace with BarBQ & spectacular views of the Sierra Nevada mountains, a conservatory, ensuite bedrooms & free parking. You even have an office just across the driveway so if needs must, you can work in peace and quiet. Travel to Ventorres de San Jose and discover this charming and cosy villa that's full of character. Mundo Maravilloso is a country retreat nestled high up in the olive fields of Granada, 10 mins walk to the very Spanish whitewashed Village of Ventorros de San Jose, with easy drives to Loja, Granada and Malaga giving up to 6 guests an opportunity to unwind in secluded comfort.

Away from main house, everything's private. Indoors there's your open plan kitchen dining and living room area. Outside there's your pool, labyrinth, various dining areas, your private roof terrace with BarBQ to watch the sun come up and and down with incredible views all the way to the Sierra Nevada.

You also have a fabulous private roof terrace with incredible views, you can eat, drink, watch the sun come up and go down.

From the villa you can access your private swimming pool, terraces and the feature labyrinth garden surrounded by lavender and citrus fruit trees.

You even have an office if you have work to be getting on with - just across the driveway from the villa you can get on with it in the peace and quiet.

A short walk takes you to the pretty whitewashed village of Ventorros de San Jose where you will find plenty of amenities on offer including, cafes, restaurants, bars, banks, bakery, pharmacy, tobacconist, and various grocery stores which makes this an ideal, sought after location. There is a gasolinera right here too. Everything a town has but you're just by the village.

Your accommodation also looks out onto the donkey paddock where our two rescue donkeys Jack & Jenny live. They’re always happy to see new friends and are a wonderful addition to our family which also includes a peacock called Yanto who roams freely around the grounds, he's very friendly.

Whether it's peace and tranquility you seek, fun, nature, hiking, cycling, or just sunshine and the four seasons, Mundo Maravilloso at Cortijo Viejo is the place for you! It's fantastic tranquil and rural location is ideal for relaxation and it is perfectly located for sightseeing with great road access to Granada, Cordoba, Malaga and Seville.

We have wifi and ethernet, fridge freezer, oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine glasses, all crockery, cutlery, dishwasher, pots and pans, plates, bowls, cups, saucers, glasses, chopping board, hairdryer, towels, sheets, pillows, bedding, fabulous chimenea, logs, firelighters, iron & board, hangers, smoke alarm, fire extinguishers, first aid kit. Hopefully everything you could wish for on your holiday but if there’s something you’d like to have that’s not listed, let us know. It may already be there and if not, we’ll see what we can do about it.

Please note, you will need a car, there is ample free parking next to your villa and a turning circle in order for you to leave the property.


This lodge 3 bedrooms and can comfortably sleep 6.
In the first bedroom, you will find a double bed.
In the next bedroom, there are 2 single beds.
The third bedroom also contains 2 single beds.

On request it’s possible to make all beds single or double or whatever combination suits your party. There’s also a bed for baby.


There are 3 bathrooms.
The first bathroom is ensuite, has a toilet and sink bath with shower over.
The next bathroom is ensuite, has a toilet and sink and shower.
The third bathroom is ensuite, has a toilet and sink and a walk-in shower.


Linen, towels and an iron are all included to make your stay more enjoyable.
Washing machine and of course the iron if your need to spruce up. Everything dries in just minutes in the sun.

House Rules:
- Check-in time is 2 pm and check-out is 12pm.
- There is free parking on premises
-- No smoking indoors but you have a massive outside areas if you do need to smoke

This lodge offers its guests barbecue grills and a garden. The front desk is open around the clock.

This Loja lodge is smoke free.
