Annual summer holiday
Host was very welcoming, saying this was originally their parents home.
It is a lovely house with a lot of room to cater for a large or extended family.
Wonderful pool, good sized kitchen areas for large families, unfortunately no Air conditioning apart from one unit in the lounge that didnt really work properly and put us off using as it was too hot to be inside the building, this has have put us off returning, also next to quite a busy rd considering its remote location.
Problems with electricity tripping out for some unknown reason most days was slightly annoying too, host had showed us how to reset it when we arrived so wasnt massively inconvenient, but obviously in hind sight this has been happening for sometime but not resolved by host. Wifi signal around the house and garden was great.
Was surprised to see bats exiting the house from a hole in the wall by the aircon unit close to the outdoor kitchen area. But didnt worry us too much as we would have eaten already by the time they were whizzing around.
If i was to be picky I would recommend that the host resolve the issue with electricity as other guests would probably give host a bad review. And maybe supply some form of stairgates for families with younger or special educational needs children.
To that end i thought the house was lovely but the lack of A/c really in the house let it down a lot
