The tent itself is very pleasant & warm. It is very comfortable.
The beds were lovely, warm & very comfortable, it felt like being at home. I was warm enough.
However. There is no log fire as advertised on the pictures, just an electric effect log burner which did the job but it wasn’t what I was expecting. There was no radiator either, nor hot tub as advertised. No shower facilities or toilet block. There was a portaloo which was spotlessly clean & exclusive to our tent thank god. Until the new neighbours arrived in the 2nd night.
The stay was very nice until our second night we had neighbours who were rather loud. They were excited, drinking, talking, falling out, making loud love making noises multiple times through the night & into the early hours of the morning through to vomiting on the hour every hour in the early hours also. Thank god for the TV which had to be turned up loud until it was time to sleep. They were very audible & this had to be listened to by myself & my teenage son 😳 Very awkward indeed & very disturbing, constantly waking us. We had try to sleep with earphones on to help but we were still repeatedly awoken a number of times.
Needless to say we left more tired than when had arrived. Maybe something to consider in the future.
I don’t like sounding negative because despite a few teething problems this was a nice stay. The second night just really ruined it for us both & I did consider going to sleep in the car it was that bad.
