Amazing property. Great location. Excellent breakfast. The staff treated us very well. Room was very clean, comfortable, secure. Sound proofing is second to none even with a very lively Christmas celebration we had to have the window open to hear any of it. Would stay here again if in Lisbon.

Great hotel in the city center
Great hotel! We stayed there twice in the same room. It’s located in the city center next to a large plaza, within minutes to a metro station. The famous E28 tram line starting station is in front of the hotel. Lots of restaurants are near by. We were there during Christmas season, Christmas lights and market are in the plaza, people singing at the plaza too. We were on the 5th floor, with a large bath room with skylights. The room is very quiet at night. The hotel seems newly renovated, very clean, and the breakfast is great, there is always someone playing piano during breakfast.The stuff are very friendly, they packed us a to-go breakfast bag in our last day, because we needed to leave early to catch our flight. Highly recommended!

Building noise!
I booked this hotel because of the great location in Lisbon and the very good reviews, however was not warned that one floor of the hotel, in an old building, was under construction. Service was pleasant; greeted by very nice local people who informed us about timings of breakfast, check-out times and the local area. After checking-in, was pointed to a clean, well-kept room, with basic amenities - and informed that you are not allowed any food or drink in the room, so there was no coffee/tea on offer there. Pulled our suitcases into the room and was greeted by the sound of drilling, followed by continuous hammering. Immediately I voiced my concern with the reception team and was told that they were not meant to be working at that time, after which they hammered quietly. For the next three days there was not a moment when we were in the room (morning and an hour or two before dinner) when there was not some building noise over our heads. On one occasion something dropped so heavily on the ceiling that a light bulb went, only to come back on again when something else dropped. Not sure I would return before checking if they had finished construction, which is a shame because the rest of the experience was very good.

Great Experience!
The hotel and our room had great character, were very clean and nice. The hotel's soundproofing was excellent, we enjoyed the crowd and a band playing in the square outside our window but slept through it all easily for our early morning flight. The location was awesome, central to everything with the No. 28 tram literally stopping just out the front door while the metro entrance was less than 100m from it. Above all, the staff was amazing, friendly welcoming and happy to help in any way. I would highly recommend the property for couples or adults but it may not be ideal for families with small children.
