We stayed in the two beds room - located at ground level/basement. It was noisy and you can hear noise from other rooms. The shower leaked water onto the floor - bathroom floor was wet slippery. Despite, the location being fantastic - very central, the checkin process was very frustrating and mostly led to this bad review. Hotels.com indicated that we would be receiving a code to enter the property (which never happened). To enter the building, you must be lucky that another hotel guest is leaving or coming in to let you in. There is also a buzzer (no instructions in the email) on how to use. Once you are let in, you checkin with the kiosk (inside building) you get the code to the building and your room- you MUST take a picture as this is NEVER emailed to you. For further assistance, I chatted with a virtual agent from hotels.com but they only provided a phone number for the hotel. However, this number is not registered with WhatsApp- so N.A. travelers are not able to call them for help. Very frustrating. We just travelled for two weeks in Portugal and this was by far the worst checkin process and room

This property was really great. Large, good beds and A/C, nice balcony and view of the city. Excellent location. Only downside was the stress of not receiving checkin instructions 48 hours in advance as promised. It took many phone calls to Expedia, who were clueless, and then finally getting hold of the property owner (no response from messaging, had to call using Teams for it to work from Canada), who was able to explain it. They blamed Expedia, Expedia blamed them. Sort it out Expedia!!!! FYI - they have other Serviced Apartments to store bags but you have to call them to find this out.

We had the top floor of this apartment for close to a week. Here's the good and the bad. Bad: Check in is horrible. There's absolutely no communication about how to go about it. There's no email response to query. I only found the self check in on there website by chance (again no instruction). The Web self check in is horrible as well. They never emailed me the access codes. Now getting to the property we were stuck outside without a code. Finally buzzed the property and they let us in through the front door where there's a machine for check-in inside the building. There's no person to talk to or ask questions. We were finally able to get in the building. Party. The rule says no partying but our next door neighbor was clearly having a big party with drunken noises late into the night. Again, because there's no concierge or any one on site we couldn't report it. Thankfully it was only one night. Bathroom. Poor design and water drains very slowly at the bath. Leaves a big puddle of water after showering. Not deal breaker. Good: The balcony and view from the unit is amazing! It's practically a miradouro at your unit! We enjoyed the view, especially at sunset, very much. Location is amazing. It's right next to the cable car and the miradouro. Very walkable location. They cleaned our unit everyday. Safe location. There's also a mini safe in the unit.

The place is nice and spacious and has good view of the city but it's quite a steep climb to get to. Property management's response time is poor. When the safe malfunctioned, we tried calling the property management contact line several times but did not get answered. So you're on your own if you have issues and no one is there to help.

The apartment was very nice, clean with all the necessities. My issue was the lack of communication on how to access the apartment. The website indicates that I would receive information on accessing the apartment about 48 hours before our reservation arrival date. I did not receive any information. I eventually had to call and spoke to some who told me that they don’t follow that process any longer. When I arrived I needed to ring a buzzer and I would be let in. I needed to store luggage and was given the address of a different apartment building where they had storage. Once again ring the buzzer and I would be let in. When I arrived I couldn’t determine what button was the buzzer. I did not have a door code so I could not get in. I was let in by someone else staying in the building and once again had to call the contact number. This person finally provided me with a door code for the apartment building I would be staying at. She informed me that inside the entry was a self checkin kiosk that would provide the apartment entry code. I stored my luggage and then walked to the building where I would be staying. I completed the self checkin process and received the appropriate codes. Eventually, I moved my luggage to my place. All the codes worked. I tried to email the property management company numerous times before I arrived in Barcelona to verify that I would be provided a code before checkin. I never received a response from them. Poor communication.
