They can improve a bit.
Staff is friendly and courteous, Boiling water tea coffee 24 hrs is good to have. Room lacks some basic amenities like mirror , dressing table, rooms not well lit . The only mirror they have is inside the toilet.

Excellent gem in great part of the city!
Everything about the hotel (except the mattress softness) was excellent. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms, halls and restaurant were very clean. The design and location of the hotel are also great! Don’t hesitate to stay here.

Excellent hotel let down by poorly managed breakfast system and service. Not enough staff, food simply not enough for the hotel numbers running out by 8am when breakfast goes on till 10am. Paying for breakfast system at reception first then the breakfast service still not seeing booking is deeply flawed system. Such a shame because otherwise it’s a great funky hotel with the best family style room with bunkbeds we have ever stayed in.

Quirky. Bed was comfortable. Room was basic. Felt public areas lacked comfort. Would have been nice to have some comfortable seating in the room, the bar, the reception area. Breakfast was good. Staff were excellent and went out of their way to give good service.

The staff at this hotel are amazing. Leaving the airport, we took a cab which turned out to be not regulated. We asked the driver if he took the card and he said yes when we arrived at the hotel, he advised us he only took cash. So we went inside to check in and to see where we could find an ATM. The driver told my husband he wanted €120. When I asked the lady at the counter, she told me that that was unacceptable and not to pay that amount. The staff actually came out with us to speak to the driver. They were able to talk him down to €30, Which is what bolt or reputable cab company would charge The staff really looked out for us and we appreciate this. They are so kind and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel. Also, if you’re travelling to Portugal for the first time, be sure to take a cab with a logo or use the app called Bolt.

They were a couple of ants on one bed so we had to change rooms. After that, everything was OK. The people at the front desk were extremely helpful and polite. They went the extra mile to get us coffee when the machine went out on our floor. The lights were very dim in the room.
