Beautiful guest house with the most amazing backyard I've ever seen at a guest house/airbnb! The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. We only wish we had more time to spend in the guest house. The location is also phenomenal - just minutes walking distance from the monastery, monument to the discoveries and belem tower!

Each room is very unique, and had all the amenities we needed. Coffee was always available, and the cats were a homey addition. George was a wonderful host and shared his history over a glass of wine. This house was walking distance to everything.

Had the best time here. Jorge greeted me upon my arrival and helped me plan my running routes. I also made friends with Kit-Kat, one of the cute cats on the property. I felt safe as a solo female traveler and enjoyed the rooster starting my day. I also got a great night’s sleep both nights I stayed there.

This was a wonderful guesthouse, I stayed in the annex or fishermans cottage, which was great, huge bathroom, nice room and a great outside area. Ricardo the host was very friendly and accomadating even though I forgot to alert him to my time of arrival 24 hours before, but my panic was set to rest when I called him. The owner Jeorge was also good company, there were lots of great facilities here I did not get to use and I think if I stayed for longer here I would never get bored because of the great atmosphere. The only problem is it could be hard to find if you expect a big sign for a guesthouse. It's 2 minutes from the Monestary so very close to all the sights of Belem, just in a cul de sac. Muito Obrigado Ricardo e Jorge.

It was very noisy, you could year every cat walking around during the night and every conversation from the neighbors. There were also cats IN the house which was not mentioned anywhere and I am allergic to cats. Room was very humid and stuffy and all my clothes smelled bad because of that. There was a lot of clutter in the garden and the terrace.
