The area has the most waterfalls and hiking trails in all of New Hampshire.
Popular sights are: The Lost River, The Flume Gorge, The Basin, Franconia Falls, Clarke’s Trading Post (Bear Show), Kangamagus Highway (Top 10 most scenic highways in US), Whales Tail water park, Ice Castles in the Winter

There are some great restaurants and sites within walking distance. Other historic sites and trails will require a bike or an automobile. The resort offers plenty of free parking.
HOUSE RULES
Please remember this is a someone's home NOT A HOTEL. Please be respectful to the property.
• NO SMOKING (even on balcony) –You will be responsible for a $250 fine if caught smoking in the building. (Management Rules)
• NO PETS – You will be responsible for a $150 per day fine if caught with an animal in apartment. (Management rules)
• LEAVE KEYS on kitchen counter when leaving. You will be responsible for a $10 key replacement (Management Rules)
• Please leave room clean and dispose of all personal items.
• No Ski Boots Worn Inside Apartment (damages floor) You will be responsible for any damages if Ski Boots damage floor
• No Towels or personal items over balcony bannisters. You can put them on table or chairs (Management Rules)
• Bring towels back from pool.
• Make sure all windows and doors are locked when you leave
• Report any damages as soon as possible. We understand things happen. But we need to know.
• Turn off lights and fans and heat down to 55 or turn off AC when leaving

Great Location
This was a great location for the hiking we did in the area. It was never too far of a drive to get to great trailheads, including several leading up to Mount Washington. Town is also within walking distance, including a grocery store (approx. 1 mile). It was just my husband and I, so the size was ideal with one bedroom and a comfy mattress. The only reason I took off a point is because parts of the place are really dated. We like to cook rather than eat out, and the kitchen area had gray paint over an old linoleum counter. The stove, while newer was smaller than normal with a burner that was uneven and hard to cook on. The pots and pans were passing but cheap. This is a first floor unit facing the parking lot. We had no noise issues, but I imagine it can get loud. We didn’t use the pool, but it and the sauna looked clean. Finally, while there were no odors in the unit, someone living down the hall must be a heavy smoker because the hallway reeked every time we returned.

The unit was as shown in the pictures. Communication and check-in was easy once we were told where the room with the keycards was located. The furniture and linens were nice and there was a supply of coffee and condiments. I rated cleanliness a 4 because the carpet needed cleaning.

The apartment is exactly as it described. Clean and good equipped. Cons: The sofa-bed is very uncomfortable and can't be used for 2 adults.

Nice location weekend getaway
Condo was as described. Very nice location, owner had good communication even checked in with us during our stay. I would stay again for a weekend I think more than 2 would feel crowded. We enjoyed our stay and it’s a great area. Parking also very convenient. Didn’t use pool or common areas so can’t comment on that.
