Nestled in the foothills of the magnificent Binevenagh mountain (an "area of outstanding natural beauty" and filming location for Game of Thrones), our traditional stone barn has been lovingly restored into a comfortable, well equipped self catering cottage. The space

This is a barn conversion attached to an 18th century traditional thatched Irish cottage. The Barn enjoys magnificent views of Binevenagh mountain and the hills of Donegal. Owing to it's traditional nature, the bedrooms are small but do sleep 5 people. 2 x double (one with ensuite) and 1 x single.

Guest access

Guests have access to private off-road parking. We also have a shared drying shed which is perfect for wet surf, fishing, hiking, cycling, golf gear.

Interaction with guests

I will meet my guests on arrival and give them a wee tour of the cottage. I live just up the lane and myself and my husband are available to answer any questions most times of the day.

Great location and comfy cottage
Great location, quiet, yet close to some of the best sites the North Coast has to offer. The cottage was well equipped, comfortable and allowing pets to come was a real bonus. Communications and all dealings with the host were easy, friendly and almost instantaneous. Overall a great little place to escape to and good value too.
