Truly fab hotel, close to the City centre

Pros: Good location, good price, great breakfast.
Cons: Not a lot!
Location: It is quite close to the 2 train stations, so well located. Lille is small enough that everywhere is walkable anyway.
I thought this would be one of those faceless chain hotels but was I totally surprised. We were en route elsewhere and Lille made a good pit stop so I picked one of the reasonably priced hotel as we were not intending to stop for long. The hotel lobby is decorated in a fun style, and very user friendly. The room was neat and comfortable, with tea/coffee making facilities. Bathroom was spacious and functional, with a good shower and tub. Breakfast was the best thing though - so much choice! You could even fry your own egg in a little saucepan. Check in and out were easy and hassle free. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

1st visit to Lille

Good location & easy walk into centre. Parking was good & nothing to do with hotel but people sleeping on streets adjacent to hotel is a little off putting, I guess that comes with a big city. Staff pleasant & we ate out for breakfast which give us a better experience of the French cafes.

Accueil et amabilité de la réceptionniste, chambre spacieuse mais pas de vrai machine à café, pas de verre mais gobelets, pas possible s’ouvrît la fenêtre, pas de lait pour je corps

Nous nous excusons pour la gêne que la fenêtre défectueuse ai pu causer à votre séjour. Lors d'une prochaine fois, n'hésitez pas demander à notre réceptionniste de vous changer de chambre. En ce qui concerne la machine à café et le lait pour le corps, ceux-là sont présents en chambre Exécutive. De plus, des gobelets sont mis en chambre à la place des verres afin d'éviter les accidents en chambre. A nouveau, nous vous prions de bien vouloir accepter nos sincères excuses et espérons vous revoir lors d'un prochain séjour afin de nous faire rattraper. Cordialement,

Poor service.

Poor service. I left my suitcase in the area reserved for that and when I came back to get them and go to the train station, there were nobody at the desk. The 2 guys in charge were both outside smoking. I had to go and fetch them !
