Quiet relaxing hotel on outskirts of Lille

Room was airy and pleasant. Food and wine was excellent but not cheap. Variety of choice for self service breakfast. Evening meal top quality and excellent service

Amazing food and hospitality.

Fantastic! The hotel is very quaint and quiet. The staff are excellent and extremely friendly. Don't let the star rating fool you, this place is the best I've stayed at with this booking service. The chef is excellent. My wife and I had an amazing meal in the cozy dining room with great wine that suited our individual tastes'. Better than any meal we've had at five star hotels by far. Great for a couples weekend. The bed was very comfortable while the bathroom is fully updated and modern. We drove a large rental van and there was plenty of parking. Breakfast is better than the typical French meal of croissant and coffee. It's more than enough to get your day started right.

A hidden rural gem...

An oasis of rustic charm and solitude hidden away on the edge of Lille. A secret world just around the corner from the hustle and bustle of the city. Sadly, we missed out on dinner but made up for this with a great breakfast - home-baked bread, home-made jams and freshly-pressed juices, delicious hams and cheeses were our family's top-choices. Despite our late arrival, we were made to feel welcome and shown to a room perfect for us and our seven-year old son - a single bed downstairs and a cosy large double upstairs for us. An indulgent en-suite, walk-in shower on the ground floor. The grassy central courtyard - one imagines this was once the original farmyard, was the ideal place to sit and relax at any time of the day with a choice of shade from the two large cedar and willow trees. Ours was just an overnight stay en route to Calais from the Rhine - we'll be back and for dinner next time!

Zu Schade fuer die Lage

Ich hatte das Zimmer Beige was mehr ein umgbauten schlecht renovierter Stall war. Auf Internet schoen dargestellt, aber in diesen zustand wuerde ich es eher nicht vermieten wollen. Zu Schade weil die Lage hat Potenz. Ich gehe da von aus das andere Zimmer besser sind aber fuer mich war es entauschend.

État général de la chambre décevant : portes de placard difficiles à manœuvrer, plinthes décollées, propreté limite, finitions laissant à désirer. Pas de lumière dans le couloir accédant à la chambre. Néanmoins, literie de qualité. A l' extérieur les bâtiments mériteraient un rafraîchissement des peintures. Le personnel est sympathique et serviable. Le petit déjeuner était très correct.
