Ammoudeli is a small and safe neighborhood where one can enjoy "life by the beach".
It is a residential area with two sea-food tavernas, a beach café and a nice pebble beach.

Once you reach Ammoudeli you do not need a vehicle to visit the rest of Plomari, due to the fact that the distances are short. If you need to explore the rest of Lesvos island, then you have to rent a car.

There are buses to Mytilene but they are limited to a few routes per day and mainly during the morning, while there are also taxis available however they can be very pricy.

Access to the apartment requires the use of stairs. Unfortunately it is not accessible to the disabled or to elderly people with mobility issues.
