Beautifully restored chalet - ideal for 3 Valleys skiing

Chalet Le Bouquetin - 10 minute drive from the large free car park at the bottom of the lift in St Martin de Belleville (and v easy access on ski / car to Val Thorens, Europes highest skiing)

Set over a vast expanse of 4 floors, every detail in the 250m2 chalet has been lovingly designed in keeping with its long history from carved wooden staircases to murals on the ceilings, however modern luxuries have not been forgotten. It is ideally situated for both summer and winter holidays.

The chalet looks out over the valley giving stunning views on all floors through vast opening windows. In summer you can watch the setting sun from the balcony -whilst in winter when it’s a little cold for opening the windows there is a wood burning stove to keep things cosy.

The Trois Valles is the largest and one of the best known ski areas in the world. Not only does it have great expanses of high altitude skiing, but also a well linked modern lift system, spectacular views, memorable restaurants and plenty of artificial snow making just in case…

St Martin De Belleville is located in the Belleville valley, next to Les Menuires and Val Thorens in the Trois Vallées, with Meribel & Courchevel just a short ski across the valleys. All the activities you would expect from world class ski resorts are available as well as some you may not have thought of such as dog sleigh outings.

Summer activities include mountain biking, rafting, walking, tennis, climbing, golf and so many others...

Rustic Property in great location
We stayed in the property for a week and enjoyed the excellent location (if you like quiet villages close to the slopes). There was excellent access to the 3 valleys area within a 10 minute drive. The house itself was well equipped (although we never found the "drying room" or boot warmers and all the beds were actual beds and not sofa beds in the living room as is sometimes the case. The dining area was also great with a large table easily able to accommodate everyone. However there were some major draw backs for us. Firstly the accommodation is over 4 floors, so plenty of walking up and down stairs but the bigger problem was the steepness of the stairs to the 3rd floor and the restricted ceiling heights on the 3rd floor where 3 out of the 5 bedrooms were. I think it potential renters with children should be made aware of the steepness of the stairs and a stair gate would have been useful .

Very charming chalet, big enough for 6 adults and 6 children, 5 sleep-ins rooms, 3 bathrooms and na extra jaccuzi in one of the sleeping rooms. 11 minutes drive to saint martin de belville, Great for skiing with a group of people!

Beautiful authentic alpine chalet
We absolutely loved the chalet - so many interesting features and very well equipped. Plenty of sunshine streaming in throughout the day. Beds very comfortable and underfloor heating just lovely under those terracotta tiles in the dining room. The drive to St Martin each morning was an easy distance, parking was a struggle but only as it was half term week. We had to be there before 9.30 to get a space in the public car park. Loved the home run back all the way from the top of the Granges chair down to the village. A couple of things to mention would be a bit more info in arrival pack. ie where to take rubbish, nearest bakery, key safe code. There were 8 of us in the chalet (4 adults 4 kids) and the hot water only lasted for one bath and 3 showers then nothing for washing up. It would have been good to know how to boost it. There was a great bath in our room which I only used once as it meant there was limited chance for others to have hot water if it was used. Unfortunately half of the group came down with a sickness bug towards the end of the stay and that combined with leaving at 4am meant that we didn't leave the chalet as clean as we normally would - hope it was ok! All in all, happy memories and some great family meals around that amazing dining table.

Splendid period house in village close to St Martin
We (2 families, 9 people) had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at this restored period house in St Jean de Belleville. Comfortable accommodation, with plenty of usable space. Thoroughly recommended!

Original, comfortable and peaceful
A terrific home, an original building with many interesting details, well equipped and very comfortable. We were 10 people and there was plenty of room for sleeping and eating. The town of Saint Jean de Belleville is nice, but there is nothing there in the way of shops or restaurants. Skiing is easy to reach, about a 10-15 minute drive up the valley to the lift at St. Martin which connects directly to the Trois Vallees ski resorts. The owner was extremely responsive to our questions and very helpful.

Très bien
Le chalet est très pratique car nombreuses chambres et SDB. La terrasse est très ensoleillée le matin et le midi. Jonathan a été très disponible pour répondre à nos questions. On reviendra avec plaisir ! Le seul bémol est la nécessité de voiture pour les commerces et stations de ski.

Heerlijke ruime en karakteristieke vakantiewoning klein stukje rijden vanaf de piste
Wij vonden la Bouquetin een heerlijke vakantiewoning om te verblijven. Het is een prachtig gerenoveerd oud pand van 4 verdiepingen hoog en heeft alles wat je nodig hebt aanwezig. Goed uitgeruste keuken, meerdere badkamers en toiletten en in totaal 10 slaapplaatsen. Er is ook een parkeergarage waar 1 niet al te brede auto in past. Ervoor kan nog een auto worden geparkeerd. Het is 10 minuten rijden naar de parkeerplaats bij St. Martin en 15 minuten naar de Carrefour in Moutiers. Wij hebben in St. Martin een kluisje gehuurd voor de ski’s zodat we die niet iedere keer in de auto mee hoefden te nemen. De eigenaar is heel vriendelijk en geeft veel nuttige informatie over de woning en het verblijf. Wij waren met twee volwassenen en drie kinderen en hadden dus zeer veel ruimte. Iedereen was zeer tevreden over ons verblijf. Voor herhaling vatbaar dus.

me and 9 friends stayed on vacation in saint jeanne de Belleville for the last week of 2016. was a wonderful stay, the house is magnificent, large and comfortable. furnished to a unique and refined style, it allows you to feel at ease in one of the best mountain hotel. the hospitality of jonathan, the owner was unique and overwelcomed although he lives in another country.he has followed us during the reservation and it was informed of the stay. The village is small but five minutes away from the slopes, and only 10 minutes away by car there is a large shopping center. the neighbors are wonderful people and made the stay even more enjoyable. will definitely return here, we were the best ever holiday on skis. i also would like to leave a comment in my own language as proof for the next italians coming there... io e 9 amici siamo stati in vacanza a saint jeanne de belleville per l'ultima settimana del 2016. è stata uno splendido soggiorno,la casa è magnifica,grande e confortevole. arredata secondo uno stile unico e ricercato,permette di sentirsi a proprio agio come in uno dei migliori hotel di montagna. l'ospitalità di jonathan,il proprietario è stata unica,benche lui abita in un altro paese.ci ha seguiti durante la prenotazione e si è informato del soggiorno. il villaggio è piccolo ma a cinque minuti di distanza dalle piste,è a 10 minuti in macchina c'è un grande centro commerciale. i vicini di casa sono persone splendide e hanno reso il soggiorno ancor più piacevole. torneremo sicuramente qui,sono state le vacanze sugli sci migliori di sempre.
