Typical chalet entirely renovated respecting the Savoyard tradition, combining stone and old wood. This place is recognized by the people who occupied it, as unique. It is a family house passed down from generation to generation where my grandfather had his workshop.
The village of Praranger is one of the most typical of the Belleville valley with its stone houses, narrow alleys, calm and mountain atmosphere. It is located near Les Menuires (4 kms below), St Martin de Belleville (4 kms above) and Val Thorens (10 kms below).
Of course, all the current comfort is there. Dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, raclette machine, TV, etc.
For skiing, you are in the Three Valleys, the largest ski area in the world (Les Menuires, Val Thorens, Méribel, Courchevel). The first ski lift is 2 km from the chalet with parking in the immediate vicinity. You can also take a free shuttle that takes you to the bottom of the Menuires slopes and for the return, either by shuttle or by ski to Praranger, 300 meters from the chalet (depending on conditions). For non-skiers, there are many and diverse activities: hiking, snowshoeing, aqua-fun wellness and fitness center, sports center with swimming pool, cinemas, bowling, etc.
In addition, the amount of the deposit, although it is requested to retain the rental, is not cashed until your arrival, with your agreement (except in case of online booking or the terms are defined by ABRITEL) . This rental is referenced on the official Les Menuires site, "rental from individuals to individuals". It is therefore labeled 3 SILVER FLAKES, which guarantees total security. I also advise you to consult my personal site "Gite les Mugalices", where you will find all kinds of information, and in particular on the ski slopes, hikes, on the animation and all the services and shops.

For summer, the mountain hiking trails are numerous and very well indicated, for all levels of the family ballad to sport hikes. Trails start from the village of Praranger. You can practice many other activities that I cannot list all of them, from whitewater swimming to rafting, canyoning, paragliding, zip-lining, tennis, and more. Mountain biking is also in the spotlight with many marked routes and also and above all the possibility of using the ski lifts to enjoy the descent in complete freedom.

Finally, for those who simply want to rest, you are in a mountain village, calm assured.

Authentique propriété à deux minutes du remonte-pente
Nous avons adoré notre séjour de six jours à Praranger. Gildas est un hôte attentif et accommodant avec qui il est facile de communiquer. Sa demeure d'origine, située au coeur d'un petit village alpin, a un caractère authentique et chaleureux. La propriété est propre, confortable et ne manque de rien. À noter: les escaliers sont étroits et à pente très raide. Si vous avez des problèmes de mobilité, cette propriété n'est pas pour vous. Ceci dit, nous nous y sommes habituées rapidement. De plus, nous avons beaucoup apprécié la proximité du remonte-pente Bettex (ou Bettaix), à juste deux minutes, qui nous amène directement à la station de ski des Menuires avec les skis déjà aux pieds. Il y a un stationnement juste à côté, ainsi qu'une petite boutique de location d'équipement de ski. Très pratique! Ne cherchez pas plus loin, vous avez trouvé une excellente propriété à louer. Bon séjour!

Klein, authentiek huisje met alles erin wat je nodig hebt. Prima bereik van skilift in super mooi gebied. Gildas is ook nog eens een super aardige gastheer die goed te bereiken is. Een aanradertje dus!

Surprenant la demeure de Mr Jay
Authentique mais pas que, le descriptif du bien (maison) en location touristique de Mr JAY est incomplet, il a oublié de mentionner quelques détails que j'ai découvert a mes dépens. N° 1 Le passage de la porte d'entrée et de 1,45 de haut, si toutefois tu dépasse cette dimension âpres quel que bosses tu t'en souviendra. N° 2 Attention a la prise de courants,celle qui se trouve a moins de 40 cm au dessus de l'évier de la cuisine. N° 3 Le premier escalier, (qui distribue, chambres, toilette, salle télé et wc,) attention au petites marches de 15 cm en profondeur et de 25 cm de hauteur, deuxièmement attention a la poutre traversante, elle aussi est la pour les petites personnes, la hauteur entre la marche qui se trouve sous la poutre est égale a 1,45 m, troisièmement pour notre sécurité le menuisier a oublié installer la main courante ou garde corps et aussi de poncer les marches de l'escalier, PS pour escalader se monument et vous éviter de graves blessures je vous conseille de vous équiper en conséquence. N° 4 Le deuxième escalier distribuant la chambre parentale et des chambres d'enfants est a pas japonais, la aussi le menuisier a voulu fair quelques économises il a couper le gardes corps 3 marches avant la fin de l'escalier, la aussi prévoyez le numero des urgences (les enfants sont tellement maladroit.) N° 5 Pour les WC qui se situe sous les chambres, prévoyez votre petite pause a des horaires adapter car l'absence de ventilation pourrais vous crée tensions et explications supplémentaires. Pardon pour cette dernier remarque elle est certainement que personnelle. PS je vous parle que des faits qui me semble importent et sans chercher plus de détails certainement aussi important. Conclusion, je suis professionnelle du bâtiment et je peu vous dire que ce bien en état est peu conformer a l'habitation.

Nous ne pouvons que recommander la gentillesse de l'accueil et le charme de cet hébergement dans un cadre montagnard épargné de l'agitation des stations environnantes qui proposent un domaine skiable immense et de magnifiques promenades en toute proximité. Disponibilité d'un véhicule recommandée.
