Located in wine country; visit the local vineyards and restaurants in the Prekmurje region. Quiet country roads and the Mura river paths are perfect for cyclists, with many tours available in the region. Thermal springs are a way of life here; many in the area to enjoy. Local store 2 minute walk from house for most household amenities. Several homemade ice cream shops that have coffee and local wine for a relaxing afternoon or evening on the patio. Take in the unique view of the vineyards and several countries from the Vinarium Tower and/or zip-line over the vineyard. Lake Balaton, Lake Bled, Postojna cave tours, castles, beaches and golf are just a taste of the history and activities that are all within only hours away for your day trips from Rumen the Haz.
