Just a mile north of Aldeburgh is the fascinating seaside village of Thorpeness, where this large family home is situated. The property can accommodate up to nine guests - ideally suited to seven adults and two children. Thorpeness’ beaches are mainly sandy and behind the village is a myriad of footpaths over heath and common land. It's the perfect base for a holiday full of outdoor activities as well as trying out the many cafes, restaurants and pubs the village and surrounding areas have to offer.
Inside the pretty house, the generous living areas on the ground floor are perfect for dinner parties, entertaining and relaxing. The kitchen has Shaker-style units, while the dining room has a table for up to ten guests. The family bathroom is on the ground floor too with a shower over the bath and WC. Whilst upstairs, there are five bedrooms, all stylishly furnished, offering guests high-quality linen for a luxurious and comfortable night's sleep. The master bedroom on the top floor is ideal for a couple looking for something extra special with its open-plan bath incorporated within the room. It also has an en-suite cloakroom with WC. The other bedrooms are on the first floor. One has a super-king-size bed, and another is a bunk room, with the final two bedrooms being a twin and a single. The single can be converted into twin beds or a king-size bed if required. Finally on this floor is a shower room with WC.
Outside, there is a lovely rear garden and patio, perfect for enjoying the warm summer evenings. The garden has patio furniture for nine guests and a BBQ for cooking alfresco.

An Ideal Holiday Stay for an Extended Family
An excellent property which was ideal for our party of 9 including a 1 year old and 4 year old. The large living area gave the children plenty of space to play (The previous occupants had obviously had a dog which meant an extra clean when we arrived as dog hairs were still in evidence). The dining area again was ideal to seat everyone comfortably around the table (fortunately we were able to contact parents before they left to bring a stair gate as the stairs lead straight up from the Dining Room). The kitchen was well fitted out with everything that we needed. The bedrooms were spacious, bright and clean. The three showers / baths meant there was little queuing in the mornings. The secluded and well kept garden gave a safe and welcoming space to be outside. The house is ideally situated within easy reach of the sea, shop, pub and boating lake.
