Very nice flat, lovely area
Communication was lacking with the host due to e-mail issues. I found this part of the process stressful as the reason for the trip was very important personal family reasons. VRBO were not much help and advised if we arrived and couldnt get access, to call them and they would make alternative arrangements. Hard to see how they would have rehomed 4 adults and a dog at such short notice. Finally got the access code from the host 24 hours before the trip. Upon arrival everything was as described and a very nice clean flat in really good location for our requirement being Old Leigh. Would recommend this flat, although if you have mobility issues the step into the living room / kitchen might be a problem. My sister in law who is in a wheelchair could not visit.

Property was tired and not overly clean. Bathroom had foul smell and cracked ceramic floor tiles which were dangerous. Sink drained difficultly. Dust under beds and bedding/towels were aged and overdue for change. Mish mash of furniture and could do with updating given the rental price. On a positive note the property is close to Old Leigh and the pubs and restaurants and we were fortunate to be able to park outside without charge

Value for money.
The property is well equipped and spacious. Price was a little over £75. Per person per night. You couldn’t hire a beach hut for that! A small suggestion would be to add handrails to garden steps and steps to kitchen could be boxed in and carpet tread added,my little dog had an issue getting up and down them , plus a coat of white paint to bedroom furniture. But that’s nit picking. All in all a relaxed and pleasant stay Thank you ,Chiara and Rob .

Interesting
If you want a honest review it was good on all appliances and equipment in cottage but the description of cottages said ground floor but it wasn't as had aot of big steps down to the kitchen area and I James struggled with them and walking up to the flat as path was terrible and and nothing to hold onto trying to climb steps you need to give a better or more truth account of what you are letting out as James really struggled even on the little step coming out of the bathroom. I also think the sofa needs a clean as smells of urine
