Location cannot be better. It is at the heart of everything. Staff are so nice and helpful. Facility has history, I was told, and it is worth to stay at the place with history. I will recommend anyone who is going to stay at Lecce.

Luciana was a wonderful manager , concierge and Hostess during our stay . She also makes an awesome omelette !! I would stay here again in a heartbeat. This was a wonderful home base for our stay in Lecce ! Grazie Luciana !

This hotel was one of the best I’ve ever stayed in! Everything was beyond expectation, The directions I was sent to walk from the train station to the hotel were easy to follow and got me to the hotel without getting lost in Lecce’s streets. The check in was easy. I was upgraded to a mini suite with 2 rooms and 3 balconies. The rooms were very large, the double bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was big with a very nice shower. The rooms and the hotel were spotless. The breakfast was very good and lots of choices including some that were made at your request like eggs and pancakes. On two mornings, I was taking full day tours and asked if I could have breakfast earlier and it was no problem. The morning I left, I had to take an early train and breakfast was delivered to my room. Both the hotel and the area it was in were extremely quiet at night. The location could not have been better, You were a 5 minute walk to the Piazza Duomo and slightly longer to the Porto Napoli. The staff were incredible, Francesco, Luciana, Arby and Tiziana were there for you and helped in any way they can. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again. Grazie Mille! The restaurants that they recommended were also very good.

The most beautiful home in Lecce
We had initially checked into an AirBnB and it was not what we expected it to be. We did some last minute frantic searching and had found this beautiful B&B in Lecce. The location is incredible and it is just steps away from all of the major sites, restaurants, and shops. The actual building is beautiful and the way they had renovated the original building, they perfectly maintained the original charm and character of the building. The person who had checked us in was incredibly nice and made accommodations for us to check us in earlier. The room had giant vaulted ceilings, a beautiful tiled floors, two balconies with super tall window/doors to let in a ton of natural light. I wanted to stay in this B&B forever and did not want to leave ever.

Wonderful in so many ways.
We had a wonderful stay at the Vico della Cavellerizza! It's a beautiful building that has clearly been lovingly restored and is in a great location (quiet street, central to the historical centre). Francesco and his team have created a real gem of a hotel from his family's palazzo and the service they provide is absolutely first class. Always cheerful and welcoming, completely obliging and going out of their way to be helpful; nothing is too much trouble for them. We had a charming suite that felt very calm and was full of character. Breakfast is extensive and very high quality with so much more than the usual dolce. It is beautifully served and like everything here, delivered with big smiles where nothing is a problem. The palazzo also has a fabulous rooftop with great views and the perfect place for drinks in an evening or just relaxing. The next time we are in Lecce we will be heading straight back to stay at the Vico della Cavellerizza!

Highly recommended
The VicodellaCavallerizza is beautiful, set right in the old part of Lecce. Plenty of restaurants and nice sights around. A young lady came to our car at Porta Napoli, helped us find a parking spot and showed us the way to the hotel: very accommodating. We had a small balcony and a high "domed" ceiling in our room. The same type of ceiling could also be found in various rooms including the breakfast room. Terrace on the roof. Breakfast wass very nice. Only drawback was that they do not have an elevator but they carried our luggage to our room. Overall, I would give them a 10 out of 10. We also loved Lecce.

The ground floor room was well equipped (especially liked the Nespresso machine), spacious and comfortable. Would benefit from a full length mirror in the bedroom area (we only discovered after a couple of days that the bathroom mirror tilted but this gives a distorted view). If you don't mind not having a balcony or other private outside area this room is great.

Our room was really big and super comfortable. We loved the hotel. Location is right in the center of the old town. Breakfast is abundant, delicious and great table service. Friendly, helpful staff.

Fantastic location. Beautiful property, lots of original, fantastic features mixed with modern elements. Our room was spacious and had lovely touches. The hostess was really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine, selecting from a menu rather than buffet style, but they don’t know how to make scrambled eggs! Overall would very much recommend this hotel to other travellers.

Wonderful
We had a great stay. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to make your stay a nice one. We travelled with our 3 month old baby and the staff were just superb. The hotel is right in the centre of Lecce and it is a beautiful building that has been lovingly restored into great accommodation. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Best place we stayed in Puglia.

A perfect location
The hotel is a walkable distance to all the sights in the historical centre, yet very quiet and discrete. A nice sized room, cozy and charming. Excellent breakfast choices both savory and sweet. We would return.

Great stay in Lecce
