Look further afield!
Not a good experience. Initially presented with a room that was not what was expected...nor paid for. After some discussion offered a more appropriate room. The hotel, perhapsonce 'grand' lacked any catering amenities and clearly was not really offering any more than a bed...albeit a most comfortable bed!

We stayed in the Family room which was lovely and spacious. Great location with a short walk to the city centre. Free parking was also great. Astaff were friendly. Had to ask for room to be serviced was the only negative but not a big deal.

Lots of stairs, awful smell of sanitizer, not the cleanest, dusty, unable to open windows and air out. No room service, very limited restaurant menu. Excellent location though. Would not stay here again, sorry

Our room was on the top floor (level 3) and there are no lifts at the facility so we had to lug all of our suitcases up several flights of stairs. This was not made clear at the time of booking, if it was we would have requested the ground floor or looked at alternate accommodation. Our bedroom window also had a huge ventilation pipe running past which turned out to be from the dinning room kitchen, this ventilation ran throughout all meals times and was extremely noisy still after 10pm when we were trying to sleep.

Wonderful traditional hotel in a quiet area of town which is easily walkable to main restaurants bars and a beautiful park next door. Welcoming staff, absolutely fantastic restaurant where we had one of the best meals during the whole of our stay on this beautiful State. Beds were very comfortable, room and hotel were clean and peaceful, and I would definitely be back.

The room was quite elegant, spacious, and clean, featuring a comfortable king-size bed. While the coffee and tea facilities could use an upgrade, the bathroom was sufficient, a bit dated but the addition of a large spa was a nice touch. Heating and air conditioning were satisfactory. Although the room given was right next to the stairwell, it got a bit noisy with guest constant entering and exiting. The location was excellent, with shops and restaurants within walking distance, and there was convenient on-site parking. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Worst stay ever !, we had to go and book another hotel while staying there because we couldn't stay there. No Power from 4am and we left at 2pm that day with still no power - sitting in room in compete darkness, no hot water no electricity at all. Asked for towels at 8.30am and at 2pm still had not received them. No apology or anything. They advertise a restaurant - doesn't exist, it is closed and does not open at all. On arrival, the receptionist greets you with "keep your valubles out of your car - we get lots of breakins here'. No CCTV cameras at all to make your stay safe.
