The property is nice, near the strip but far enough away to not be in the mix. Parking was free and great. Checking in was easy and the receptionist was welcoming and accommodating. There were lots of employees on strike and were yelling at us guests as we came in and out of the parking garage. Outside of that our stay was enjoyable.

During our stay we were not notified of the protesters that were staked in front of the hotel. On our first night’s stay, we decided to walk across the street to get food, and we were heckled by said protesters. They were repeatedly yelling in our faces and screaming with megaphones as we walked away. If we had been made aware of these conditions, we would have stayed elsewhere. Totally unprofessional on the hotel’s part for not notifying guests prior to their arrival. No compensation for the situation was offered or issued. In fact, we had inquired additional fees that I was under the impression were included when booking through Expedia.

The hotel looks quite dated, though the rooms were great and freshly renovated. However, my low rating is due to a strike of hotel employees near the building. They were shouting all night long with megaphones, and even though we stayed on the 21st floor, it was extremely noisy, and we couldn’t sleep

Wow. What a disappointing stay. We have stayed before but wont be back. We "upgraded" our room. When we got there - the fridge was full of open tequila drinks and reeked. There was BLOOD on the bathroom wall. Ibcalled repeatedly for 2 days and nobody came to clean it - i eventually did it myself. No restaurants were open except the steak place which was so overrated and so expensive. Room service for breakfast was cold, hashbrowns were burnt and covered up as if we wouldnt taste it, my bagel was like rubber! It was just dirty overall. The slots werent hitting at all, not even once. Theyvwere on stroke and blaring music outside to try and dull the protesters but just nade everything worse. Trash all over the grounds. Broken glass too! Just an overall crap experience for New Year's Eve and a friends wedding. Never again. If I could give a ZERO stars I would.
