I really liked the recent renovations, pool area and aquarium. The staff could not have been nicer, had wonderful dinner at mi casa. That being said.... The Lodge is listed as a Non-smoking facility. What they didn't say is that the only entrance is enclosed by the casino areas which ARE SMOKING ...even next to aquarium where small children and families congregate. Second hand smoke is UNAVOIDABLE. I have a breathing condition, and book according to nonsmoking facilities. Management or corporate NEEDS to make entrance and aquarium areas nonsmoking. I would love to return, as this is a fun and easy place to stay, but unfortunately as long as it forces its clientele and small children to breathe in smoke i will pass.

The room was spacious, comfortable and very clean! The café was convenient with good food and reasonably priced for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Try the corn chowder...yummy!

Although it is quite a walk to get to the front desk from the parking garage, it'll be worth it. You are greeted by a lovely friendly Front Desk clerked named Mei. She made the experience for me far more comfortable as I am not much of an extrovert. And speaking of comfortable; the pool! Oh, man was the pool an excellent experience in itself!! I would go back just for that pool! You get to lay back and soak up some sun and probably wouldn't be able to move from that spot at all! You'll have a waiter coming around asking if you need drinks as you're seated on that spot! I love Silverton! Wish to see you guys in the future!

Everything about the property was excellent. My only complaint is that it was advertised with airport shuttle but the shuttle service doesn't start until 7:00 a.m. and I had a 6:00 a.m. flight so I still had to take an Uber to the airport.
