It's okay
Well for the price, this place didn't seem great. The main good point about this. Is that this hotel is located literally in Las Vegas, New Mexico, it's right next to a Best Western. It seems like it's in the middle of nowhere and then a town appears. It was a welcome sight when we were traveling down the I-25 coming from Colorado . The weeds and landscaping is overgrown. The pool was not in service when we arrived, which was kind of disappointing. In any case, it's a quiet place to sleep. The road is dark in front of the hotel. The entrance is dimly lit. The staff seem friendly.

It’s an ok hotel. Nothing terrible about it but nothing great about it either. Pool wasn’t available due to city water issues. No elevator. A little bit expensive for what it is, compared to other hotels at the same price.

When we got there, the girl that greeted us was very friendly. We found a fun place for dinner (The Skillet - fun, but loud!) and then settled in for the night. We like to turn the air low and set the fan to stay on all night so that it’s not constantly cutting off and throwing us into complete silence all of a sudden. This unit had that option, but the fan didn’t actually stay on, making for a long night! If you like hotel breakfast, choose somewhere else. This had prepackaged eggs and sausage biscuits that you could heat up in the microwave. They also had packaged muffins. That’s it.

It’s an older place but it was clean and convenient. I wish we could have gotten the a/c fan to stay on all night, instead of going on and off, but that was pretty minor.

The Place was a little dirty when we walked in but they had recently had flooding in the town and things seamed to be hectic. We only stayed for 1 night and the beds where comfortable. What you would expect for a 3 star hotel.

Our room literally had a WEED growing along the floor on the outside wall! Clearly hadn’t had a vacuum over in that area in weeks!! Unbelievable!! (And if you don’t believe me…I have a pic of it on my phone!) Toilet seat barely screwed on base!! DO BETTER DAYS INN!

It's a shame that there is a water shortage. Breakfast was ok. Could hear more noise from other rooms and hallway than normally expected.
