So upset with La Quinta Inn Santa Ursula. We usually stay there when we visit Laredo. I made an error booking online and reserved with the wrong Friday date. It was 2 weeks before the actual check in date & they did not want to do a courtesy cancellation to get a refund and they didn't want to at least let me have someone else check in to my already paid room. Of course not...because they will probably rent out the room again and charge for it again. Talk about customer service. I'm sure your hotel wouldn't have lost out because it is busy during the holidays. But that's how it is in Laredo. We ended up staying at Extended Stay in Del Mar area. Price was still good, looked nicer & way better service. On Friday 12/6 that we arrived to check in and realized we booked the wrong date, the staff couldn't even honor to change the date of the room to that day or they didn't know how or even answer their phone for Expedia or anyone else. And they even said they had lots of rooms available. We had to figure out where to find to stay at 11pm at night. That is not good customer service. They need to do better or have better trained personelle that knows how to fix customer issues when the managers are not there. Now I am out $169.56 for a room that I will not use and that they probably rented out to someone else and charged them for that paid rm. It is busy season with all Mx tourist passing thru Laredo so I'm sure they would have still gotten a replacement booking for that room.

The room was extremely dirty and run down. Lots of thins were broken like the bathroom light, bedroom door, bed base, bathroom door. The room was extremely dirty. It was obvious they only cleaned the sink and toiled. The floors looked like they hadn’t beed vacuumed in a long time. There was visible dust and grime in all of the low traffic areas. There were big stains and an old press on nail on the floor. The sink drain had a disgusting oder coming out of it and little bugs too. I saw the picture and the La quinta name and thought it would be ok but I was very wrong.

not what we expected
It´s not what la quinta used to be. old, not been upgraded in a long time, the tube was cracked, a lot o trucks very noicy at all hours. not clean surrounding. confortable beds, but with all the noice it was very difficult to have a good night sleep. won´t stay there again
