Well past time to update!!!
This place needs a major upgrade. For starters there are no full size pillows, the only set of blinds are the block out. All of the 1990’s furniture was very old and beat up. Large Bathroom but unfortunately could never get hot water to the shower, turned on high for a good 5 minutes before getting in and not a warm shower at all. The sink in the bathroom took forever to drain.Up charge for this hotel for a MSU football game was ridiculous. I will never go back and recommend to anyone spend a few more bucks and go somewhere else.

We arrived at 3:30 to check in (3:00 check in time) and were told that a room would not be available for two hours because they were so busy the night before. So we killed an hour and an half and I called to verify that they had a room for us and was told they did. We checked in and were sent to a room where the housekeeper was just getting started cleaning. Finally got a room after another trip to the front desk. Then when we went put our 4yr old grandson to bed, the sofa bed wasn’t made. Another trip to the front desk. The property is old but reasonably clean and kept up but the these issues are a serious problem.

Worse hotel I ever stayed at. I had to leave after a night and they wouldn’t refund me and charged me for entire stay. We had massive bugs in our room and they said they would be in the next morning with an exterminator and never showed up.

It was the worse hotel I ever stayed at. The floors were stained and the bedding and couches were broken down. I woke up to bugs all over my room. When we told the hotel staff we were checking out early and we needed refunded they were super rude.

Somehow the hotel cancelled my reservation so upon check in they had to create a new one. Strange. The property is old and needs updating. Interior carpets looked dirty but may have been just worn out. The entire first floor smelled like marijuana the entire time. Breakfast was fine for what it is. Nothing special.

The room had several electric sockets that were not working. The refrigerator had standing water in it and you had to seem pot every time you went in and out of the building with no effort of the management to correct the matter.

The staff were friendly and the breakfast area and options were EXCELLENT!!! For other travelers, I chose this as a budget option at $90/night and you get what you pay for - the hotel has not been updated since the early 90's, the carpets are dingy, bedding is lacking, our window had been pried open and not repaired, bathroom fixtures were gross - from age. The hallway reeked of marijuana and I was slightly concerned for our safety upon arrival. The staff were friendly and helpful but the facility is old and pretty gross. We had unidentifiable bugs on the walls and ceiling - where other hotels now have usb chargers, this one doesn't. I basically told my guests, think of it like indoor camping. If you can sleep out in a tent this location might be ok for you, but if you want a clean, updated room choose elsewhere. I dreaded what breakfast would look like and am so happy to say it far exceeded my expectations - we had a great meal in a clean and cozy dining area. There were lots of other families and elderly travelers there which made me feel safer than my arrival did.
