Goldsands Hotel Langkawi is one of the best and finest hotels in Malaysia. Hotel staff were very polite and helpful from the moment we entered the hotel. Room is very spacious and super clean, with excellent shower pressure and heat. Airconditioning is very good and cleaniliness is damn good. Will surely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Langkawi!

Gotta pay RM15 for a cup during breakfast
My overall stay is ok. But when my son broke a cup during breakfast, manager informed us that we have to pay for it. So strange... and I had to ask him how much as he didn’t say. So 15RM for a cup. We stayed for 4 nights in a family room with queen and two singles. The queen side has cricket sound from the aircon.. and some noise from the outside construction near midnight.

Fine for a short stay.
Friendly staff. Big modern designed rooms. Close to shops. Amazing spa- BUT, I had to leave the shower running for 30 minutes, to get warm water. The windows allow all noise from outside to be heard. My initial room, had gaps around the frame!! Many stray dogs, by the hotel, constantly barking. There may be a drainage problem, as when I left the toilet seat up, a few minutes later, there was a bad smell. They need vegan options for breakfast. Breakfast was okay, but my choices were more dinner inspired than a breakfast one (heavy noodles/rice). I wouldn't stay at this hotel again

Has an excellent gymnasium and room's are spacious and light. Refrigerator is only a cooler really but other than that no worries.

The breakfast buffet definitely have a lot of room to improve. Menu was limited and not much changes. Stayed there for 5 days to have almost identical breakfast every single morning. Would have been great to have a live egg station instead of a pre-cooked ones.

Room is spacious.The location very strategic, night market on Wed n Saturday night just in front of hotel starts at 5pm until 10 pm. Every check will get complimentary welcoming drinks and 15 minutes massage. The swimming pool located at the rooftoo and we can enjoy panaromic scenery of Kuah town from here. Worth the money

This place is off tap. Perfect location if you like good restaurants, night markets and access to ferry and good shopping. Breakfast, which was included in the price, was so delicious and different every morning. The pool on the roof over looks all of Kuah, so on hot days it’s nice to stop back at the hotel for a drink and swim. The rooms are so spacious and lovely, as was the service, we felt like royalty. Must stay!
