We will be back.
We enjoyed our stay at Sparks in Lancaster. The hotel was very clean. We had plenty of towels. There was an adequate Bagel Breakfast. Its convenient to alot of local attractions and activities.

Basic accommodations
TV never worked properly; reported it and was awarded points for the inconvenience. Clerk was kind enough to switch tv in lobby to football game I wanted to see. Breakfast is super basic - bagels, cereal, muffins - but will get your day going. Apparently, hotel is a refurbishment of an old hotel, another guest shared this, and while overall the renew is very nice, the repainting of the bathtub is a failure. My husband was washing out something in the tub, and came away with paint on his arm. Was told housekeeping was every other day, but never visited our room the 3 nights we stayed. Beds were comfortable.

I booked king bed room and when I checked in it was not available. I was given a double bed room. Dissatisfied with the fact that I had to settle for a room type that I did not want. When I'm booking a room that is a deal breaker for me.

Property was clean and neat. Don't expect comfort though. One metal chair in each room. Breakfast was taost and bagels only. No milk or juices. Eating area was metal chairs and benches, no comfort here either. One side of the hotel faced a gas station. Tractor trailers idling all night along with rolling trucks using jake brakes past the hotel all night long.

I’m not one to normally write reviews but I didn’t have the best experience and I think many others could agree. They offer every other day cleanings which is fine. They never came in to our room to clean or to restock towels and we were there for 4 days. Our microwave was broken in our room. It took 2 days to be replaced. Our room was above the lobby. It was very loud. I am a very heavy sleeper and I still heard it. The breakfast was a disappointment. It is a bagel bar with strawberry cream cheese and jelly options. Fruit was limited. The waffle maker was either without spray, mix, or syrup and a super long line cause very few men were eating bagels. No milk at breakfast was unacceptable in my opinion- most kids drink milk in the morning. In all of my travels I don’t know if I’ve ever said I wouldn’t come back here but I think with this hotel…. I would never come back here.

Front desk personnel were helpful but breakfast attendant not so much. I asked her for a knife and she said she ran out. 15 minutes later she came back with more while I was still in the dining area. It would have been nice if she was hospitable and let me know. Other than that, my room was clean, well stocked, more electrical outlets than I could ever ask for, and sufficient space to rest & store my belongings on. I really liked the warm welcome on the TV with my name when I entered the room. It would have been nice if there was a microwave in the room. It also would have been nice if breakfast had more varieties besides bagels and muffins. Some fruits would have been nice also.

Good hotel but not total hotel service.
The hotel was clean and nice. The service was fine. However they do not clean the rooms everyday. You need to request that separately if you want the beds made up daily or the bathroom cleaned. The breakfast was just coffee and bagels.
