On other short term rental site 80 stays at 4.99 stars. Located in the charming Lake Morton Historic District on Success Avenue. The completely detached suite is a two minute walk from Lake Morton & a half mile from Lake Hollingsworth which boasts a popular paved path, & one block away from Florida Southern College. I'm a leisurely one mile walk to downtown Lakeland where you'll find multiple bars, restaurants, and shopping. The famous swans of Lake Morton are less than a two minute walk. Latest review on the “other” website: Stephen's place is exactly what an (competitor) experience should be. It is in a beautiful location, walking distance from everything we wanted to do and see - the swans' lake, downtown restaurants and shopping, the farmers market, the bakery, etc. Stephen has provided excellent recommendations for restaurants, activities and entertainment. He responds promptly and is always available to help. We loved our stay in his guest house and would be happy to return to explore more of Lakeland.
