Under the circumstances, hurricane Milton, I have to give this review as fair. It wasn't as clean as I would have hoped. Overall it isn't the nicest La Quinta that I have stayed, there were bugs in the bathroom, shower curtain wouldn't stay closed, no trash can or remote in the room. There was a trash can under the sink with a lot of water and the staff did not warn us of this and when we pulled the trash can out to use it all the water spilled on the floor. Boo hoo.

First of all, no parking lot lights. Very dangerous. A very dirty and stained towel was mixed into the clean towel pile in the bathroom I had to go down to the desk to get a key that would let me in 7 times. When I got home, I checked my credit card account, and I had checked out a day earlier, and they gave me a credit for that day, but they double charged me for the other two days. I am going back tonight, and I better get the credit for the double charge.

This place is a dump. It’s way outdated, there’s only one elevator for 6 floors, the tv didn’t work, there was no toilet paper in the bathroom, the walls are super thin so you can hear every conversation going on in the rooms from the hallway. The staff were pretty good people but this place just isn’t worth the money

I asked for a receipt when i checked out a night early and they wouldnt give me one even though i paid at the property. Then this morning they sent me a message to tell them my expected check out time and i left last night at 6pm. They said receipt gas to come from expedia. I needed it for jnsuranxe because of hurricane milton.

I was allowed to book pay for and drove over 165 miles to get to this hotel only to find out the power was out. It’s not the fault that the power was out. However, your systems need to change so that a person is not allowed to book a Hotel in those conditions Subsequently, I got a live human on the phone, who then booked us a La Quinta in Tampa on E. Fowler Ave. drove across the state again only to find out that it was also either closed or no electricity finding ourselves with nowhere to stay at about 9 o’clock at night. Once again, your information systems are in Unacceptable and booking agents should know when hotels are closed and or don’t have any power.

Worst Roach Motel EVER - stay away !!!!!
The rain is leaking water from the window into the room. It was a waterfall of water onto the air conditioning unit. The carpet is soaking wet. La Quinta did not mention in their website that there is no generator so there was not electricity for most of the time I was there thus the elevator, tv, internet, etc. are all not working; no lights in the hallways and stairwell, bugs in the bathroom. Smell of marijuana and cigarettes inside the room and hallways. This is an unsafe and most horrible hotel to stay at - stay away. The manager ‘Jessica Medina’ refused to refund my money.

The power went out because of a hurricane and I was on the third floor which made it difficult to see and carry my luggage down because I can only do one step at a time and I had to help my 84 year old mother down. I ask the staff to help and they did a great job helping me finish getting everything down.

This property is awful! Blood on our carpet, yellow pillows, mold everywhere, window leaking literal buckets of water during rain. Customer service far less than acceptable.

My first night I was in a room that had roaches. They gave me a different room after I reported the roach and then the new room I got didn’t have hot water in the shower. I was highly disappointed in my stay

Our stay
It’s not right to judge in a way as for reasons beyond our control we were forced to find hotel accommodation very last minute with very little availability anywhere. As a general comment housekeeping was non existent for a 3 night stay which was a shame. Coffee maker a health hazard! Corridors were not vacuumed, lifts not clean. Pool closed (disappointing but understood). Patio area tatty & dirty. Staff were friendly & efficient, breakfast/reception area clean but unexciting
