APPLIES TO BOUTIQUE HOTEL: The property appears to be very nice and clean. The issue here is the staff’s unwillingness to help solve issues when something goes awry. When booking the date, the app glitched resulting in the wrong date being booked (reset to next day; I should have double checked so that’s on me). Within an hour or so of booking, I realized it was the next day rather than in February when I originally planned to return to LP. I reached out to Expedia and the hotel to resolve the issue. Expedia tried. The hotel was completely unwilling to find an alternative solution. Re-book? Credit for next stay? Refund then trust that my friends and family will book with you next time? (been there twice in last 4 months and going back in January) I try to be fair and understanding. I only wish they would have done the same… All options were immediately met with a NO.

Because of the Can AM tournament we were upgraded and it was unbelievable. Walking distance from everything. There was some mix up with transaction and deposit but the manager was amazing and so nice (which is something we’re not used to) I would recommend this hotel for a getaway, it felt like being home. Awesome

Absolutely loved this hotel, the rooms were spacious and very clean, we enjoyed our included breakfast as well. The hotel has the perfect location, right near the lake ans within walking distance to all the dining and bars, it’s our 5th time in Lake Placid and so far, this hotel is now on our top 3 list :)

We found the Lake Placid Inn to be a perfect place to stay on out trip to Lake Placid. Great location across from Mirror Lake and a 4 minute walk to Main St. Our room was very clean and it looked to be recently updated. Staff was great and helped us to find dining and other options to check out.

My stay here was one of the best hotel experiences I've had in years.
