THIS PROPERTY OVER LOOKS LAKE EILDON WITH MOUNTAINS ALL AROUND, AND IS THE PERFECT PLACE TO GET AWAY FROM IT ALL AND RELAX OR GET ACTIVE!

SO IF YOU ARE INTO, BOATING, SKIING, FISHING, 4 WHEEL DRIVING, MOTOR CYCLING, BIKE RIDING, NATURE WALKS OR JUST RELAXING ON THE DECK LOOKING AT THE WATER WITH A GLASS OF WINE IN YOUR HAND, OR A GOOD BOOK BY THE OPEN FIRE. THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE!

BEDROOM MAKEUP

BED 1.
The main bedroom is upstairs and has a queen size bed with electric blanket, ensuite, smart TV and great views of the water and mountains, so you will have to draw straws for this room!!! (its my favourite).

BED 2.
Is also upstairs and has a queen bed with electric blanket. This bedroom overlooks the backyard and gets the warm morning sun. It also has a door leading out onto the top deck and workout area, which has great views and a nice quiet place to enjoy a morning tea or coffee or evening glass of vino.

BED 3.
Is downstairs and has a Queen bed with electric blanket and views of the water and mountains.

BED 4.
Is downstairs and has 2 single beds, 1 set of bunks (4 single beds) and has views of the water and Mountains also.

There is a spare mattresses, and Porta Cot stored under the beds in the 4th bedroom.

WHAT'S CLOSE BY??

GENERAL STORE
The property is walking distance from the local general store which, has everything you could need including great coffee, food, alcohol, papers and mags, fuel for your car/boat, take away food etc etc.

CARAVAN PARK CAFE called Fish Inn.
You can see this cafe from the house and if you follow the walking track around the lake you will pass right by. This is a great place to stop for a coffee, breaky, lunch or dinner.
Friday and Saturday nights is their specialty, where they serve great pizza and other take away foods. You can in (just bring your own drinks/grog) and eat in or order take away.

BOAT RAMP is about a good stones throw from the property, which means you can watch your boat being launched and skiers skiing from the property. This boat ramp may or may not be open depending on the water levels. The good thing about Goughs Bay however, is that there are many boat ramps to launch your boat around the Bay area no matter what the water level. When the lake was at its lowest the only place you can launch your boat is on a ramp, was at Goughs Bay!! Water level currently at nearly 90%

BOAT CLUB!! CURRENTLY CLOSED FOR RENOVATIONS. SHOULD RE OPEN BEFORE XMAS 2024 ALL VISITORS ARE WELCOME!
This is a MUST VISIT and open Wednesday, Friday and Saturday but on January it will be open for Lunch and Dinner every day. Its a great place to sit and enjoy a cold one overlooking possibly the best view of Lake Eildon you will find. Prices for drinks are the cheapest around.!!!!

MANSFIELD TOWNSHIP is only 12 Min away and that has everything you could want and more. The restaurants, pubs and coffee shops are all worth a visit and the strip shopping is fantastic. Just keep in mind that most shops do close on Saturday afternoon and Sunday.

WINERIES and THE DELATITE RIVER
Wineries are abundant in the area and there is a great fishing/swimming hole called Bracks Bridge about 2 min drive from the property.

MOUNT BULLER AND MOUNT STIRLING
The property is situated not far out of Mansfield and a 30 min drive to the Mt Buller gate entry. Making day trips easy and importantly affordable.

MANSFIELD ZOO
You would have passed the Zoo on your way to the property and is a must see. You can feed animals and pat the animals in this open range environment. The kids will love it and so will you!!

HIGH COUNTRY MAZE AND GARDENS
This is well worth the visit the kids will love it and so will you!

BRACKS BRIDGE
Approx 1 km for a lovely Picnic area on the Delatite River. Public bush toilets and wood bbq. Great fishing and swimming hole.
Perfect spot in summer to relax under the huge shady trees.
Feel the cool mountain water rushing though your feet while walking along the flat river rocks.

PICNIC POINT:
Picnic point is visible from the property and is a walk or short drive away. It has a playground area, BBQ and toilet facilities. Just turn right at the bottom of our driveway and follow the road around to the left keeping the water on your left, you will pass the caravan park on your right and picnic point is a bit further along on your left. The views are spectacular.

FOREST CAMP DAY VISTOR AREA
Is located on the road into Goughs Bay, it has access to the Delatite River with toilet and BBQ facilities and a great big grass area to play on. Perfect for picnics!

Great getaway
The property is gorgeous, with such beautiful views to wake up to and destress. I went with 3 teens, they loved the lake access for paddle boarding and the table tennis table was a huge bonus. Thumbs and paws up all round!

We loved our stay! Really kid friendly with an awesome play room for the kids, Amazing view of the lake Rooms were Spacious queen beds all had Electric blankets, made it perfect trot our snow weekend away! Heating worked amazing and kept the house warm! All the Cupboards in the pantry were clearly labeled made life so much easier location stuff! Would Definitely love to come back and stay again

Our trip to Goughs Bay & Mount Buller Snow.
We found the property a delight, there was enough space for my wife and I + 3 teenage daughters to still have their own privacy. Everything we needed was available. The instructions of what to bring and how to get to the location were very clear and everything was in working condition. The location was close enough to the Mount Buller Snow and the views from the front showed a beautiful lake very close by (handy for the summer). The only thing that did not allow as to grade everything as excellent was there was a garbage bag with rubbish on the kitchen bench when we arrived and some of the dishes needed washing before being used otherwise it was a great few days away. Thank you Paula

Wonderful relaxing stay
Wonderful well stocked property. The owners gave thought of practically everything. It was a very hot 4 days and we welcomed the air conditioning and screened doors, windows and deck. The only thing we missed was a coffee machine but a great excuse for a morning walk to the caravan park. Lots of space for two families. We did not bring our dog but wished we did as it is a very well set up for a dog with a great secure front deck. We loved the lake views from the two decks and the view from the master bedroom is amazing. I could have relaxed in their all day! Great communicaton from the owner. We look forward to staying again in the future.

Great Location with Good Views
Great Location easy to find. Very well equipped with everything you need. Plenty of room for our 2 families. Pet friendly which was great and the table tennis table got a pretty good work out. The only things we would suggest is maybe some more blockout blinds in all bedrooms and at the glass entrance door and kids room. We also found quite a few of the plate/bowls not cleaned properly at first use which could be from the dishwasher maybe not working properly. Thanks again
