This bright, tastefully decorated apartment is located right behind the Lagos Marina. The apartment has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (1 with walk-in shower and 1 ensuite), and a separate kitchen which is fully equipped with everything you might need to cook up a feast! The living room is very light with a spacious sitting area and dining table. There is a large private terrace to enjoy the sun. The apartment has modern ceiling fans to keep you cool on hot days! During colder day you can se the portable heaters and electric radiators to heat up the room.

## Neighborhood

The apartment is located on the hill right behind the Lagos marina area. The Marina area itself has all you need including restaurants, bars with live music and a large supermarket. Lagos downtown is within 15 minutes' walking distance.

Lagos is the perfect holiday destination with a lively historical center full of shops, (super)markets, a marina, bars and restaurants. It is known for its breathtaking cliffs and we highly recommend a boat, kayak or SUP tour to see them from the water. The town has a picturesque historical center, great food and friendly people. As it is located on the coast you can enjoy several watersports activities such as surfing and sailing. There are many activities for all ages and preferences in this area.

## Transit

You can reach Lagos in about one hour by car from Faro Airport and car rental is available in the parking lot of the airport. By train it will take about 2,5 to 3 hours.

Lagos has a train station (for travel towards Faro, Lisbon and Porto) and a bus station (for buses towards the west-side of the south coast) but do note that buses and trains only go a few times per day. You can easily get around without a car and there are plenty of taxis and Ubers available, but if you really want to explore the area surrounding Lagos, a (rental) car will make your life a whole lot easier.

Needs some work
Furniture was dirty, as were the rugs. Though not the responsibility of the property owners, the entryway at ground level had the smell of swamp water. Pretty foul most days. Close to the train station, but the path to the apartment left something to be desired, especially if you were hauling suitcases around. The roads to the property were roundabout, and would take a lot longer to negotiate. The contact person, Carolina, was hard to reach, and did not respond to calls. When we arrived, she told us her phone contact was not charged, and that was the reason we couldn’t reach her. I felt this was very irresponsible. If you give a client a phone number to reach her, I feel it is her responsibility to make sure that phone is charged so that she IS reachable. We were left outside the apartment with no idea when she was coming. We had made it very clear through Vrbo when our train was arriving. She should have been there.

Spacious apartment and great location!
This spacious, two bedroom apartment was more than my husband and I needed for our stay, but it was the location that attracted us to it. Easy walking distance to the town centre as well as restaurants, bars and shopping. The apartment was clean and well equipped. The area felt safe and was quiet. Free parking is available on the street in front. The check in process was easy and quick and communication with the property manager was prompt on What's App. We would recommend this place for two couples or a family of 4.

Comfortable Lagos Apartment
The apartment is modern and well-appointed in a quiet residential location near to the beach and close to the Lagos Marina. It is on the first floor with access only available by lift. The accommodation was well laid out and was adequately equipped for self-catering. A smart TV with Netflix and streamed TV was included. The beds were comfortable and it was generally very quiet in the evenings. The Marina, with a variety of restaurants and bars was only about 5 minutes walk and the main part of Lagos with abundant restaurants and shops was also easily walkable within 15-20 minutes. The booking process was well managed with through a property management company. Communications were excellent and the check in and out process was very efficient. Overall, a nice apartment which would suit families and couples for a stay in Lagos at any time of the year.
