Welcome to the Balcón de Cotillo complex, Los Lagos, El Cotillo, northwest of the Fuerteventura Biosphere Reserve. You spend your holiday in a prime location right on the beach and sea from the "Playa de los Lagos" and "Playa de la Concha". These beautiful beaches with tranquil lagoons and white sand, or a bay with waves invite you to swim, surf, snorkel or stand - up padlling. Or just to enjoy the peace and quiet.

We guarantee cleanliness, constant maintenance and very good equipment of our apartments and look forward to welcoming you soon. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.

Almost all apartments are located in the complex have a size of about 40 square meters and are all the same cut with living-dining room kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, terrace or balcony. Only four apartments have a frontal sea view. Due to the "sloping" layout of the other houses, most of the apartments (ours) have beach and sea views depending on how the location is. Sometimes the apartments even have mountain views. So you can enjoy sunrise or sunset from the balcony or terrace.



The Apartment 'Casa Los Lagos' (51)

The approximately 40sqm apartment is located in the lower floor (ground floor) of a house and is reached via the spacious terrace. Due to the staggered situation one takes neighbors hardly was. The apartment consists of a living / dining room (sleeps 2 for children / teenagers) with fully equipped kitchenette. Next to it are the bedroom with large wardrobe and the bathroom with shower, toilet, sink and washing machine.

The destination- El Cotillo

El Cotillo, the original coastal town in northwestern Fuerteventura, is far from the hustle and bustle. In the alleys of the old harbor district meet fishermen, individual tourists and wealthy Majoreros who have built their second residence here. The charming little town of El Cotillo is known as a paradise for surfcracks, high waves and good wind conditions. There is plenty of sun here. In El Cotillo, for example, an alternative surfing scene has been established, always in search of new challenges. There are ideal conditions for "windsurfing", "kitesurfing" and traditional surfing. A small supermarket (delicious breakfast sandwiches / baguette!) and more shops are only 4 to 5 minutes walk from the apartment. A larger supermarket, a bank, numerous restaurants and bars, a laundry and other offers can be found in El Cotillo.

The "Urbanización LOS LAGOS"

About ten minutes walk from the "center" is the small settlement in which the apartments "Balcon de Cotillo" were built. Here, lovingly arranged in the typical style of the Canaries the staggered, bright white houses were built. Due to the "privatization" and the associated change in the administrative structure, much has been invested in the renovation of the complex, which consists of a well-tended garden with palm trees, oleander and more. m. is surrounded.

Close to superb beach and village
Really excellent communication with owners: I have mobility issues and needed guaranteed internet and my queries were dealt with quickly and efficiently. As well as a path in addition to steps, giving access, I was offered the use of a rollator which was brilliant. Slight downside little direct sunlight (though may be better after March) and no direct sea / beach view. I had booked from 7 March until 4 April BUT flights home cancelled, indeed El Cotillo completely closed down too, no restaurants, bars and very limited supermarkets. Booked flights elsewhere also cancelled, third time also cancelled but eventually (via skyscanneer) got from Fuerteventura to Tenerife to Madrid to London Heathrow which surprisingly all went smoothly. (Then coach to Liverpool and ferry home to Belfast!) All through this process Roland (owner) was in touch and helpful with contacts for taxi to airport as regular bus was not operating. So: overall impression excellent but total experience (totally NOT owners' fault and probably only during this pandemic) was limited

Lovely spacious apartment, superb when the weather was warm. On Winter days when the weather was very cold and windy, it could be quite cold in the apartment, so ensure you have warm clothing if visiting in Winter months!

We had a good stay in this well-equipped and excellently located apartment. It is a very short walk, two minutes, to the beach along a private path. The beach is perfect and very beautiful. Never crowded. We enjoyed some good home cooked meals in the wonderful kitchen. But also had excellent meals at Azzurrochillout restaurant, eight minutes’ walk. Very comfortable bed. It’s a busy complex but the apartment was very quiet and everyone is so friendly. Looking forward to our next trip.

Sehr empfehlenswert - immer wieder gern
Eine schöne Ferienwohnung in einer ruhigen und direkt am Strand gelegenen gartenähnlichen und sehr liebevoll gestalteten Anlage. Der Strand ist wunderschön und lädt zum Sonnen und Baden ein. Sehr gut ausgestattete Küche, renoviertes Badezimmer, sehr bequemes Bett. Das Frühstücken auf der Terrasse war ein schöner Start in den Tag, auch wenn früh im Jahr keine Sonne auf die Terasse kommt. Vogelgezwitscher und Meeresrauschen den ganzen Tag inklusive. Wir haben an Einrichtung/Ausstattung nichts vermisst. Einzig die kurze Duschdauer mit heißen Wasser war nicht ideal, aber das ist meckern auf hohem Niveau (Tipp: bei 2 Personen schnell oder versetzt duschen) Der Kontakt war äußerst unkompliziert und sehr freundlich. Vielen Dank dafür. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Relax allo stato Puro.
Contatto molto cordiale e disponibile, la casa e' piccolina ma curata e dotata di tutto il necessario per 4 persone. La posizione e' ottimale a 30 metri dalla spiaggia e a 80-100 metri dal mare. Spiaggia molto bella per chi ha i bambini perche' tranquilla e spaziosa. Il mare permette ai bambini di nuotare e giocare tranquillamente. Negozi , centro Citta' , Bancomat e' tutto a nel giro di 3-5 minuti a piedi. Lo consiglio a tutte le persone che sono in cerca di Relax.
