Excellent stay for great price
Enjoyed the property very much! The pool was very nice after being out. Very refreshing. The property appeared to be exactly as advertised. Only concern was getting in and out of the locked sliding door as it was pretty tricky to lock/unlock. Appreciated the location and amazing restaurant right next to us. Property manager was incredibly helpful when we were looking for help with our rental car. He was also very kind with our check in and check out process. Very grateful!!!

Good Location Horrible Beds
We stayed here 06/27 throughout 06/30. It’s a nice place. It was easy to find the apartment and driving there using Waze. There was a minor mix up with the managing company instructions with entering the apartment but when I called (WhatsApp) they were courteous, responsive,,apologetic and prompt. The management company is awesome. They helped us with tours. The apartment was clean and looks the same as in pictures. The kitchen could use a cutting board and prep bowls, and extra cutting knives. The apartment is located at walking distance from the down town area which have lots of local restaurants and entertainment. Yet, it’s in a quiet neighborhood were one can rest. We didn’t get to use the pool, but it seems nice and clean. The major draw back why I gave this apartment a 3 star is because of the beds. It was our resting place after long days of exploring, but we found no rest due to the beds. They were hard as a boxspring that is used to support a mattress. Not only are the mattresses hard, but the pillows on the beds were heavy and hard. Everyone in our group said they are the hardest and most uncomfortable beds we had ever slept on, and we all travel a lot! I personally use VRBO often during the year and this was my worst sleep ever. My body was literally in pain every morning and am an active person. For this reason I wouldn’t stay there again unless they place real mattresses on their beds. It’s a pity, since it’s a nice place to stay, yet not to sleep.

Place pretty much exactly as described. If you need some quick items, Kris Mercado is close. If you need full up groceries, the super Mercado is a couple minutes further

Great Spot
This unit is in a great location-close enough to the downtown hub of LaFortuna, but far enough away to be very quiet. Nicely decorated with comfortable furniture selection. Maybe it was just us, but the sliding door lock was difficult to unlock. It was nice having a pool there, but it was pretty chilly. At check-in we found the keys were missing from the lock-box, but we phoned the manager and he was there within 10 minutes to make things right.

Beautiful Apartment Close to Town with everything you will need!
This apartment was the perfect place to stay and see la fortuna. Was provided with everything I needed and was given lots of info for things to do in town. Place was clean and tidy when we got there. Would definitely stay again!

Stayed in bottom apartment, April, 2023 and top apartment in January, 2024. Comfortable, clean and reasonably priced. The pool is a nice feature after a hot day of hiking etc. Location is quiet, about a 10 minute walk to town where you can find anything you need. The property manager was very responsive and helpful. They also book tours at their office which we used both of our trips.

100% recommend!
The place is great, very clean and has everything you’d need including laundry with detergent. Air conditioning in each room was nice and the beds were very comfy. The only thing I’d say is that the water temp in the shower is just a littttttle on the chilly side but it’s doable. Location is a 7min walk to the main street/area and there’s also an amazing spot right across the street if you don’t want to walk far. Also Allen at the lobby/office is incredible and helped us with literally anything and everything. He went above and beyond booking us cars, massages, picked up our luggage, etc.

My family and I spent the month of June at Sofi’s beach house. What an amazing experience has this trip been. Sofi’s beach house was perfect for us. The manager Diana was incredible and extremely responsive. Sofi’s beach house is perfectly located in the middle of Jaco, near everything. We will be coming back for sure. We strongly recommend it!

Great home base for exploring La Fortuna
We stayed here for 3 nights while exploring La Fortuna. Location was great - about a 10 minute walk (with kids) to downtown La Fortuna. The house is in a generally quiet neighborhood near the downtown area. We felt very safe walking to and from town both during the day and at night. The property managers were very responsive with any questions on the property or suggestions/help with things to do. The kitchen was stocked with the basics. The a/c in the bedrooms did a nice job of cooling the rooms down at night. We had an issue with figuring out how to turn on the hot water but eventually we're able to troubleshoot it; some written instructions in the unit would have been helpful on how and where to do that (the little black box on the bathroom wall). We were out exploring so only used the pool once, but it was clean. Some additional towels would have been nice to have on hand for the pool. Overall a great stay and would definitely return!

We had two adults an out two boys (ages 18 & 15). The condo was excellent. We stayed in the upper unit. Pictures were very accurate. The beds were very comfortable. The location was 5-7 minute walk to town. There were several restaurants in walking distance and we always felt safe. The pool was nice with an outdoor patio set. The check in process was smooth. We met Edar, the property manager at their tourist/tour business and we followed him via car to the location. We gave us a quick run down of everything in the unit. He was also able to recommend some activities to do. Definitely check out the La Fortuna water fall. The price was nominal and the view was gorgeous. The only issue we had was the electronic gate into the property was not working from time to time, but they had maintenance out and were working on fixing it, so I doubt it will be an issue long. We would definitely stay there again and would recommend.
