We loved this hotel. Us and another couple booked our rooms here because we wanted to be close to town but not actually in town. The hotel communicated via WhatsApp and was responsive to everything. The bed was wonderful, so much so we took a picture of the brand so we can get one for our guest room at home. The indoor/outdoor shower is awesome. We enjoyed the rain coming in via the hole in the roof with the rain shower head. Parking was easy, security and housekeeping were friendly, and I liked just getting text the code for the lock box and getting the room key. The views from the sky deck were great when the volcano showed between the clouds. We sat on the bed outside in the rain and enjoyed some wine and just enjoyed the sounds of the jungle. We would 100% stay here again if in the area. Price was fair for what we got. Ac was cold which is a must for us. Hot tub was nice to have even tho we turned the temp way down so it was more like a refreshing plunge pool. Oh and they had ice in the freezer and refilled daily. Love us some ice.

The Bauma villa was clean, spacious and well stocked. It’s in a perfect location for exploring La Fortuna. We loved the privacy and the space we had for our family. Highly recommend for an alternative to a hotel stay.

Everything about the villa was 🔥🔥🔥, from cleanliness, amenities and staff. This was an amazing birthday celebration. I was able to have private chef, backdrop with balloons and a private musician come for my birthday. The villa looks exactly like the pictures. I would definitely recommend Bauma Villa.

The virtual staff was very responsive and helpful, the location is good and the place was clean. Overall, it was nice and met our needs. There’s consistent street noise, however, which we found hard for sleeping, and at the time of our stay, there was active construction noise next door, which took away from our relaxing afternoon after a busy morning. The kitchen was stocked well enough for very simple meals but would benefit from better cooking tools. La Fortuna is a great base for the Arenal area.

Such an amazing place to stay. Everything was clean and very friendly. Everything is communicated through whatsapp which is very common for country’s like Costa Rica, so be sure to download the app. Everything was a breeze. Long drive from the air port but very worth it me and my wife loved every second of being there. The morning views with coffee were amazing.

Wow!! This was one of the best experiences we’ve ever had! The staff was incredible and were so supportive and accommodating to EVERYTHING we needed. They went above and beyond to make sure this was the best vacation ever! We were celebrating our 20th anniversary and they made sure it was so perfect! I couldn’t recommend this place enough!!
