Quiet Clean Hotel
Respectable hotel up on a hill directly off I-90 in a quiet area. They have a pool and offer decent breakfast options (eg make your own waffles, egg & sausage patties, bread, english muffins, pkg’d sweet muffins, granola bars). An ideal place for those who prefer a quiet rural-ish area not too far (~5-6 miles) from the outer western edge of businesses in the city-suburban area of La Crosse/Onalaska.

The room was clean and nice, however the bed was the absolute worst. That mattress was hard and so uncomfortable, we could not sleep. The breakfast food was cold, and not good. We have stayed at this hotel every year for at least 10 years, but things have changed, and not for the better.

Nice Stay
Nice stay for a friend’s over night in West Salem. There was a pool and hot tub but we didn’t have time to enjoy it. There was breakfast but nothing extravagant, very basic. There is a Kwik Trip very close by. Overall, nice stay though it was a short one.
