After a very long day of traveling beginning in France and ending in L’Aquila, we arrived about midnight, and the hotel person welcomed us warmly even though it was way past their checking in time.
Our room was cozy and clean and had a small balcony and good sized bathroom. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, but our room was near the road, and it was a bit noisy at times.
The hotel is located right below the main streets of the town and is a 20 minute walk to where most of the shops and restaurants are. We like to walk, so i it wasn’t an issue for us. They have a restaurant which we didn’t try, and the breakfast was bountiful with cereal, yoghurt, various breads and pastries plus sliced meats and cheeses. The espresso was delicious, as only Italian espresso can be. We were there for two nights and would happily stay there again.
