We enjoyed staying at The Blossom Kyoto. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Having access to laundry facilities was a huge plus and not expensive. Snacks and drinks for most of the day was also convenient and welcome at times. We would highly recommend staying there.

Best accommodation in Kyoto!
Our stay at The Blossom Kyoto was unforgettable! The hotel exudes a serene, Zen atmosphere that made us feel instantly at peace. The spacious rooms are well-appointed with plenty of modern amenities, ensuring ultimate comfort. The service was top-notch—attentive and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The highlight was the private onsen for guests, a perfect place to unwind after exploring Kyoto. The world-class restaurant was equally impressive, offering delectable cuisine. We highly recommend The Blossom for anyone seeking a tranquil and luxurious experience in Kyoto! Additionally they offer a well priced bag pickup and drop-off service and the hotel was within walking distance to many shops, restaurants and more importantly the must visit Nishiki Market's!

This was a perfect area to stay in Kyoto. Everything is a 20 minute drive, or walk away. Right on a big street, so it was very easy to get Ubers and Taxis. The hotel was nice, and very clean, everyone spoke English and were just super kind. They had an area with free snacks and that really helped when you are waiting for dinner! Walking distance to a ton of restaurants and shops. The rooms were spacious and they offered 3 beds in a room. We loved the Blossom Kyoto!

Great location, close to subway and bus stop, comfortable rooms. Very helpful staff. The onset was wonderful and the hotel supplied patches to cover up tattoos

The hotel is quite far from a lot of attractions so you spent a lot of time walking out or taking the train. Not sure I would recommend for your first time in Kyoto. It is very quiet, the room and bed are comfortable and the AC worked well. I originally thought the room was very nice and clean but upon closer look you can tell it was a surface clean. There was a body hair stuck to the shampoo bottle in the shower, the light bulbs by the bed had a ton of dust collected in them.

Lovely hotel. Very close to Kyoto station walkable. Loved the lounge area as well. We had an incident with our toddler and the manager, Wu, acted swiftly and was very helpful. She also helped make reservations to restaurants and was able to help send our luggage to the next city we were visiting. Only downside was the bathroom smelled like smoke from the other rooms, so they had to add an extra air purifier which helped a bit. Overall, would recommend!!

The property was stunning, authentic Japanese feel in all reception areas. They provided amazing products within rooms and in the Onsen. Loved this location, property and would recommend to all.

Hotel itself is so beautiful. Lots of amenities. Free snacks at the lounge was an added bonus. Onsen was nice. Got upgraded upon request for mentioning Expedia VIP platinum status to a deluxe suite and was really nice. Room facing partial Mountain View with zero outside noise. Plenty of amenities but we didn’t get to use. Staff all spoke good English and were all very pleasant. Only downside the location is a little off the main action about 18 min walk to Nishiki market or the Kawaramachi st where all the shopping and food and night life. Expedia noted a lot less than that. We were a little frustrated but otherwise still a good stay. Not the hotels fault.

Mostly good… a few areas of improvement
It was a good experience, in general. Our room had a window but abutted against the building next door so it was quite dark, but the room had a comfortable layout and bed. The laundry scene is chaotic as some of the reviews expressed and the dining areas get quite crowded. The staff was lovely though and very helpful about making dinner reservations for us. And the neighborhood is great!
