The room is very spacious. Our son traveled with us and was surprised to see another room with a king size bed on what we thought was a closet. The fridge is big enough to accommodate our daily groceries. Never expected to see a mini-kitchen in the room. Will definitely use this place again.

We stay here for 3 days , we really enjoyed. We will stay here again for sure. The mattress was hard , I always wake up with pain in my hips, but other than that, friendly staff. They have laundry machines for free, but you will be lucky to get one open, we went to a near one like 7 minutes walking.

We loved our stay here. The room was spacious with the most beautiful hot tub and comfortable beds. The pillows were super bouncy and it was like a home away from home. It was so close to locals and encouraged us to explore side streets and local restaurants. We found the best Indian Curry house tucked away and hidden. We used buses and walked. Only 1km walk to township and mall. It’s not located near the main tourist attractions, but only a few bus rides/ train rides away. Taxi and Uber are super cheap. Around $9 NZD to get back from town if we needed too, due to heavy shopping bags. Theres lots of convenience stores and a lovely spacious grocery store in the lower mall. We would come back here in a heartbeat. Thank you :-).

I would avoid
The decor was shocking with dirty marks and holes on the sofa and carpet. The kitchen was ill- equipped so difficult to self cater. There was no coffee machine - instant coffee only. The windows were frosted over which made it feel like a dungeon. On a positive note, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom very good. We expected more from the presidential suite. Mr Trump would not be happy!

Close, but not that close. You will have to walk some to get into the city for stores and traveling in and out. Staff speaks some English and you can get by with a translating app. Be aware they are not there 24 hours. Rooms were spacious and average. Probably needed a bit more cleaning but was sufficient. Rooms are not sound proof and you can hear your upstairs neighbors footsteps. The only issue I had during my stay was that while I was in the room, someone opened my door, saw me and quickly shut the door using the personal digital code assigned to me and only me (the room key is a digital code as opposed to a key card) and it scared me. When I asked the front desk about it (because they do not clean during your stay so there is no housekeeping), they apologized and issued me a new code but I wondered who was trying to access my room without my knowledge with my personal belongings in there. Just be sure to secure your items as there is no room safe. Otherwise, I would say it was an average stay.

Great little hotel in a quiet neighborhood, good sized room for Japan standards. The only two things that kept this from being a 5 star rating are the bathroom faucet with the motion sensor and no temperature control and the super thin toilet paper.

Large spacious, well-equipped rooms with one of the best showers I have used in Japan so far. Helpful and courteous staff. The only downside is that the closest station ( Tofokuji) is about a 8~10 mins walk
