Very nice hotel and staff. Breakfast very good, but the bar and lounge menu was expensive for what it offered. Room was comfortable and good size. The staff were quite courteous and helped us for diner reservations.

Very good hotel, centrally located near Kyoto train station, airport bus transfers etc. Onsen is a good facility, he big front doors are impressive. A good place to stay whe visiting Kyoto.

Loved this hotel. The room was perfect for us. We were triple sharing with my 8yr old son and we were all very comfortable. This was the best bed I had in my 15 day Japan trip. I regret not booking more days in this hotel. Instead I opted for more days at Righa Royal because of their pool and was just extremely disappointed with that hotel. The staff and service here was always friendly. I loved how the family mart and many restaurants were conveniently close. It’s a 2 block walk from the Shinkansen Kyoto train station so that was super convenient. One of our best meals was at Cocos Japanese curry right in front of the hotel. The bathroom was super cute and I absolutely loved the tea kettle and pijamas that came with the room.

The Righa Gran is an elegant, sophisticated hotel within a very short distance of Kyoto station. We wanted comfort and easy access to the JR rail system and this was the perfect location. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, and the bed was a dream. We had need of emergency healthcare and the staff were very quick, understanding and professional in arranging for an ambulance to attend us. After we returned to the hotel, they were genuinely concerned and took extra care of our needs. We greatly appreciated their assistance throughout a difficult time. We would definitely stay here again.
