Love this property. We had difficulty understanding how to use washer and dryer as well as air cleaner. It would be have been nice if someone walked us up to our rooms and showed us how to use these appliances when we arrived. The property is very serene but it is too dark, which made it difficult to safely see where I was walking.maybe better for younger clients.

Excellent, clean, quiet, comfortable hotel in the heart of the Sanjo area, with easy access to local markets, two subway lines, and local attractions. Very friendly staff. And the Hiba wood bathtub smelled amazing and was great for soaking after long days of walking the area. We didn’t want to leave!

This hotel was absolutely amazing. The room was perfectly clean and very modern and comfy. There were so many lovely bathroom amenities which were replenished everyday. Friendly staff and accommodation was attractive and comfortable. However, a bit of a far walk (at least 10 minutes) from stations and any main attraction. But there are bars and restaurants close to the hotel.

In the beginning I booked it for its beautiful bath tub and the fact it had a washer/dryer, but then the location and access to everything was the cherry on top. Great location with lots nearby!

Felt special the moment we arrived. Rooms were big and had all sorts of great amenities. The beds were the best. Big bonus was the washer/dryer. Every afternoon they have saki and snacks available for all guests. This isn’t at an extra cost. I would stay here again.

Great room but with some negatives
Pretty clean and modern property. Location is okay but not great for the typical tourist destinations. We ended up using taxis several times. Reasonable walk to Nishiki Market, close to a Family Mart and about 10 minutes to the train station. Room is very nice with one exception- the bed is really hard. I wouldn’t describe it as firm. It was hard. We asked for mattress toppers but they didn’t have any. Since we couldn’t sleep well, it took a lot away from our stay. Washer/dryer was the reason we booked this room and that part was great. Staff speaks limited English, which is understandable, but their willingness to be helpful varied. Drip coffee in the lobby is low quality.
