This is my 2nd time staying at this hotel, after last year’s. I have to say that my experience just keeps getting better. From the moment I checked in to the time I left, it has been a seamless journey experience. If there’s an area of opportunity, I have to say that the quality of the Ochazuki breakfast are not as good as last year.

This hotel was like a tucked away little gem of a hotel amidst the hustle and bustle of Kyoto. It was as tasteful as can be, with kind, helpful staff and a very nice room. There was an onsen which was pleasant as well and much needed after long days of city walking tours. Highly recommended!

I lve the hotel cleanliness and how quiet it was. It was also in a very convenient location, close to the market and shopping strip, as well as train station/bus stop. The only negative thing about this hotel is the airconditioning does not allow you to go lower than 20C. It extremely hot when we went and the AC wasn’t sufficient
