We had a wonderful stay for 3 nights. The buffet breakfast was reasonably priced and children (6 and under) eat free. Clean, good/attentive service, and decent size rooms. There’s a subway entrance right outside.

Nice. Clean. Not the regular Hyatt US room size. I expected water bottle in the room on your first day, but they said you have to go downstairs and get them. Neighborhood is not bad, felt safe.

At home at the Kyoto Hyatt
This is an excellent hotel near the center of Kyoto. The staff are friendly and courteous, the rooms comfortable and well designed, and the management well organized. Our room was quiet and everything worked well. I was happy to call the Hyatt home while in Kyoto.

The room is reasonably large for Japan and well setup. The location is great and directly above the subway station which is really convenient. The breakfast is a bit pricey, but there are lots of options, both Japanese style and western. There are a few different restaurants in the area for dinners.

I like the bathroom design and amenities, which is modern, convenient, and surprisingly spacious compare to the overall compact room size. You don’t need to stand in the tub but have enough space for a comfortable shower. The wet area is well separated from the dry area by a glass door. The smart toilet is the most recent model, the auto-closed bathroom door provide good privacy.

This is a modern hotel in a great location, located on top of a subway station only 4 stops without transfer from Kyoto Station. The subway and bus options are very convenient. There are many restaurants and cafes within walking distance and of course several Seven's and a nice grocery store nearby. The beds are comfortably and the Nespresso machines were great. Check-in was easy and the staff is extremely helpful and courteous. Special gratitude goes to the staff and management, who helped recover an airpod which was left in the bed and not realized until we were already on the shinkansen to Tokyo. After a few quick email exchanges with Park, the front desk manager, and a small and reasonable fee, they securely packaged and delivered the airpod to the hotel I was staying at in Tokyo. This is not only a testament to the great service at this hotel, but to the honesty, efficiency, and diligence of Japanese culture. Thank you for helping us create such wonderful memories during this visit.

Liked the drink and cafe counter. Nice comfortable lobby while we waited to be checked in. Initially they were going to charge me a fee for the bed sofa which the booking clearly included the 3rd bed/sofa bed. Then he waived the fee.
