This is a fantastic hotel, especially for the price. It is centrally located to many shopping and transportation options. The rooms are spacious (especially for Japan) and the bathroom is wonderful, especially the tub! The staff were lovely and very helpful. I got sick during my stay and the staff were able to get me a same day appointment with a specialist. I would absolutely stay here again on my next trip to Kyoto!

The staff were very helpful, room and hotel were very clean and modern, convenient location. The buffet breakfast was very convenient and delicious. It had both western dishes and traditional Japanese food. Would stay here again.

Housekeeping came in and moved all of our stuff when we did not put sign on door. Received a "stained" blanket that time when they weren't even supposed to change the sheets. Breakfast buffet was expensive and not worth it imo. BUT: the location is FANTASTIC. Great access to bus to Kyoto station, walk to Kiehan sanjo line across river for alternative. Fantastic food options down pontocho alley, Kawaramachi street and access to river! Not interested in staying anywhere else on my next visit. Great water pressure in showers. Great ac in room that goes down to 20c.
