This is the best hotel I have ever stayed at, has everything you could ask for, the buffet breakfast was excellent, hotel so clean, lots to do in and around, easy bus to Dubrovnik, airport nice and close. Staff was very helpful!

Not sure how this is rated as a 5* hotel, multiple reasons as to why it’s not. Firstly the staff, quite rude, not just one but a handful. There is a cart that goes back and forth to the bottom of Cavtat multiple times a day and we were refused numerous times by staff because other guests were older even though we had queued and waited for our space we were rejected. We are all guests and should all be treated the same, to be honest the stairs down and up to the hotel are extremely steep, very high up and quite dangerous. We only ever wanted to go up as it’s quite high, one staff member let us on once in our entire trip. Some weird cricket sound that plays throughout the hotel lobby and piano bar, it’s awful. No water, I’ve stayed it lots of hotels all over the world and to not provide 1 bottle of water is madness especially when charging 700€ per room (city view). The hotel isn’t catered for any younger generation, 40 or below we believe is treat completely differently to other guests. We watched this on multiple occasions. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone below the age of 40. Good things, beautiful location, Cavtat is wonderful. The views from the hotel are sensational. Lots of nearby restaurants and bars (loved the wine bar!) Water taxi is a must into old town and can book on the day.

This is the second time I’ve stayed in this hotel and it’s like a home away from home! Very comfortable good atmosphere and the staffs are very nice with excellent service from the door, reception, the room attendants, bar and restaurant! I’m very comfortable and relaxed in my stay here. Keep up the excellent work. I always recommend this hotel to friends and even to those I met in our holiday!

3.5 stars. Property is about 30 minutes from Dubrovnik proper, but there are restaurants nearby in Cavtat. The bed was pretty nice although on the firmer end, pillows were not very supportive. Great view! We got the deluxe room with a sea view. For the price, the hotel shared areas were outdated. They close the pool early at 8 pm and the hotel is like a maze. Breakfast had a lot of options, the food quality was OK. I could see how some people would really like it. Service was OK, no big issues.

Perfect spa hotel in amazing natural setting and close to Cavtat, the golf buggy rides on the hill were great for tired legs. The views top notch and the staff were fantastic. Great wildlife in the area too. Kingfishers, black squirrels, many butterflies and marine life. The breakfast absolutely wonderful.

I had a great stay at Hotel Croatia. Friendly stuff. The room was very nice and clean. I got the Deluxe Plus Room with sea view and balcony and the view was stunning! They also have a nice spa and massage services. 5 min walk to the beautiful town with lots of restaurants.

Hotel Croatia is beautiful and large. Activities abound around and near the resort. A bit far from old Town Dubrovnik but accessible by water ferry or Uber/Taxi

We really enjoyed Hotel Croatia, the staff were always helpful, the cleaning staff were very good and cleaned our room daily. The hotel is very luxurious with lots of nice touches, the bedrooms and bathrooms are a bit tired but generally the hotel on the whole was of a very good standard. I would recommend just having breakfast as there are a range of other eating options available, steakhouse restaurant was very good and down on the harbour are a variety of good restaurants.

Great overall stay, beautiful Hotel, location
This is a beautiful hotel in the charming little city of Cavtat. They were very nice and gave us an upgraded room with a better view, the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We tried two of the restaurants and they both were great. The hotel staff was very friendly and answered all of our questions. The location was convenient, although you do have to walk up a steep hill to get back, you can easily take bus 10 into Dubrovnik . The only suggestions I would have for this hotel would be to put a coffee machine in the breakfast as we did not like the coffee that was provided. Also, we had to remind the cleaning staff a couple times to take care of trash and refills of the amenities. Other than that, this is a great hotel..
