Cest un très bel hotel avec de tres belle chambre qui offre une vue magnifique sur la mer ,la piscine est egalement tres agreable avec un panorama à tombé par terre Notre seul deception est le personnel qui s'occupe du restaurant pour un hotel 5* il n'est deja pas normal de ne pas parler un peu anglais et de plus il manque vraiment un mannager car cest du grand n'importe quoi il ne comprennent rien a ce quon leur demande alors qu'il nous font croire que oui on attend 3h ce quon a commandé !!! Mon conjoint a seulement souhaité des oeufs et dailleurs il les attend encore ... car a chaque petit dej c la meme affaire il fallait expliquer comment les faire alr qu il on quand mm une carte ou il sont en photos au secours koi... et le pire cest qu'il se foute limite de ta geule en cuisine et en salle ca rigole normal vraiment pas un personnel a la hauteur du standing de cet hotel DOMMAGE!!

Vähän syrjässä

Valitsin hotellin hyvien näköalojen takia ja sen Mantra kyllä täyttikin, joskin meille sattui huone ravintolarakennuksen kohdalta alemmasta kerroksesta, jolloin osan näköalasta peitti ravintolarakennuksen katto. Useimmista huoneista lienee oikein hyvä näköala, mutta alempien kerrosten osalta saattaa tulla pettymys. Allasalue on ihan ok, mutta aurinkosänkyjä on liian vähän. Aamiainen on hyvä. Huoneet ovat tilavia ja viihtyisiä. Viihdejärjestelmän kanssa on vähän niinsun näin. Ainakin meidän huoneen Linux-PC:n kuva oli niin suttuinen, ettei sitä pystynyt käyttämään. Hotellin wlan toimii vaihtelevasti ja internet-yhteys on liian hidas käyttäjämääriin nähden. Sähköpostit ja facebook-päivitykset onnistuu, mutta Netflixistä ja muista streamasupalveluista ei kannata pahemmin haaveilla. Hotellin sijainti mäellä tarjoaa hyvät maisemat, mutta toisaalta sitten liiankin syrjäisen sijainnin esim. Fisherman's Villageen nähden. Hotellin ilmaiset sukkulabussit on ihan toimivia, mutta liikennöintiväli sen verran harva, että kannattaa harkita muidenkin liikennevälineiden käyttöä, semminkin kuin ilmaiset kuljetukset eivät kata kuin 3 kohdetta. Me vuokrasimme hotellin kautta mopon, joka maksoi 300 baht (n. 7,5€/vrk) ja antoi täyden liikkumavapauden ympäri saaren. Saarta kiertävän tien liikenne on vilkasta, mutta ainakin vähän mopoilukokemusta ja tervettä järkeä omaava pärjää siellä vallan mainiosti. Autoilijat kyllä varoo mopoilijoita ihan kiitettävästi. Samuin hintataso on kovahko, mutta edullistakin ruokaa löytää esim. Bo Phutin perjantaimarkkinoiden katukeittiöistä ja päätien grillikioskilta ostimme kokonaisia grillikanoja noin 3€ hintaan. Mantra Samuin kuntosali on tosi hieno, vaikkakaan en sitä itse käyttänyt. Kuntoilijalle ja rauhaa rakastavalle oiva hotelli! Actionia kaipaaville suosittelen hotellin etsimistä rannalta ja jos oikein kovaa actionia kaipaa, niin sitten Chawengin suunnalta. Itseäni Chawengin pääkatu lähinnä ahdisti räätäleiden sisäänheittäjien, taksikuskien ja hieromapalveluita tarjoavien kilpahuudoilla. Bo Phutin tienoo on mukavan rauhallista seutua. Hotellin alueellakin on jyrkät mäet, joten kannattaa kaupungilta tullessa käyttää respan luona olevien golfautojen kyytiä huoneelle menemiseen. Henkilökunta on ystävällistä ja avuliasta! Ei Mantra Samuista mitään huonoa sanottavaa, mutta itse koin sen pitemmän päälle turhan syrjässä sijaitsevaksi, mutta mopollahan sekin asia kohtuullisesti hoitui.

Super schönes Hotel

Das Mantra ist ein wunderschönes sehr sauberes und gepflegtes Hotel. Es wurde an alles gedacht. Sehr freundliche Angestellte und einen super Service!! Man muss sich bewusst sein das man nicht zentral liegt in diesen Hotel und es keine Möglichkeit gibt, zu Fuss irgendwo hin zu gehen. Es hat aber alles dort um glücklich zu sein :-) Auch einen Shuttel der mehrmals am Tag an die Strände fähtr. Wer jedoch etwas unabhängig sein möchte, sollte einen Roller mieten. Dies ist direkt im Hotel möglich. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen im Mantra!
